Avatar 4:09am Sem:

Hello, BiUK. Glad you've dropped the chainsaw for a moment's rest from your sylvan labours.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10am Fran:

Avatar 4:24am Bill Mac:

They showed people there at sunrise for the solstice on the news. Reason enough...
Avatar 4:25am Bill Mac:

  4:27am Apple:

can I raise a practical question at this point?!
Avatar 4:28am Brian in UK:

Some things do not change, off to walk Spencer the beagle.
Avatar 4:29am Bill Mac:

No of course we're not going to do f***ing Stonehenge tomorrow night!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29am Stanley:

Strawbs - that well known bluegrass- folk-prog-rock-glam band.
This must be during their patchouli period.
Avatar 4:30am Brian in UK:

Jazz Odyssey it is then.
  4:30am rw:

Happy summer!
Avatar 4:30am Sem:

Halcyon Days, indeed.
Avatar 4:30am Bill Mac:

Hey rw!
Avatar 4:30am Brian in UK:

Distant Cousins there's a limit supply.
Avatar 4:31am Bill Mac:

Been awhile since I spun this one...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31am Stanley:

Tell us why, Brian
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33am Kevin-san:

Good morning all, almost spit my coffee when I realized I was hearing Spinal Tap
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35am Stanley:

Strawbs and Cream, for me.
Avatar 4:37am Sem:

Double cream, no doubt. My God, Stanley, I could not get over the amount of sheer dairy fat in the English diet.
  4:37am sufferwords:

hey man - i'm under some palm trees- laying in a hammock in Olawalu Maui- the wedding dj stopped and on comes WFMU- changed the experience from the ridiculous to the sublime - thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:38am Stanley:

Watch me now, I'm gonna eat the label!
Avatar 4:39am Bill Mac:

@Sufferwords How'd that happen? Any revelers dancing?
Avatar 4:41am Sem:

FZ, man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44am Stanley:

Sem, the Germans can put back the ol' dairy, big time, too.
Whipped cream with everything, baby.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45am Stanley:

I normally get my dose of expanding headband music from Stan on a Sunday morning.
This will do, nicely.
  4:49am sufferwords:

there indeed was revelry and dancing- a beautiful affair at an oceanside mansion- the kids have drifted away to a pool to swim in the moonlight - my days of such abandon are memories but to be alone in this place - three shooting stars thus far and bugging to good music - trust me it's fucking rocking as all get out- peace
Avatar 4:50am Diezel Tea:

Very fitting that Spanish synthwave comes on while I'm looking up Spanish pharma companies at work. How, how?
Avatar 4:52am Bill Mac:

I guess there's always a wedding going on somewhere...
Avatar 4:56am Sem:

Rob W. has such a wonderful ear, this is a gas, gas, gas.
Avatar 4:57am Bill Mac:

Yeah, I can always count on his premiums...
Avatar 5:10am Brian in UK:

Loved the tuba one.
Avatar 5:11am Bill Mac:

Me too... all about counterpoint my friend.
Avatar 5:13am Sem:

You know how, don't you, Steve? Just put your lips together, and blow.
Avatar 5:15am Brian in UK:

I used to enjoy hearing Humphrey Bogart saying the word 'sap'. As in 'Do you take me for a sap?'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:17am Krys O.:

Great show!
Avatar 5:18am Sem:

Yes, BiUK. He made it sound like the greatest affront.
Avatar 5:20am Bill Mac:

I get a kick out of the jargon they used to use in film noir. I don't know where I got it from but some nut spliced all of Bogie's dialogue from Casablanca together and put it out for download. I used it for my Dad's memorial show back in '03 wfmu.org...
Avatar 5:21am Bill Mac:

Hi Krys! Tanks!
Avatar 5:24am Brian in UK:

Bill, like that you finished with Heaven.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26am Stanley:

Well, that's another set of accounts knocked out and sent to the client.
Time for a coffee and a look around.
Yes, I remember The Who.
Avatar 5:27am Bill Mac:

Interesting story about that. I was doing a show here the night my Dad passed. I was pulling that song when Maxine called me, but she didn't tell me what happened until I came home. That's my Dad's connection to the song. I nicked his record collection and played it that night. Hard to get through, but a great show.
  5:29am -> Ming thr Merciless <-:

Wow! This Thinking Fellers are really far beyond - Cover, Sound, everything … very cool!
  5:30am -> Ming thr Merciless <-:

Er: greetings fron Eastern Germany, by the way …
Avatar 5:30am Bill Mac:

Hi Ming, One of the best 90s bands ever.
  5:31am -> Ming thr Merciless <-:

Never heard of them before …
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32am kuba:

hey ming, where in e.g., if i may ask?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36am kuba:

(loving the show, btw)
  5:37am -> Ming thr Merciless <-:

Avatar 5:37am Brian in UK:

Bill, got to cut and run. Must have taken something to do that show.
Dana would never fall on her face.
  5:38am -> Ming thr Merciless <-:

(Not the city, just the … errrr … "Bundesland") (The State?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39am Stanley:

Brian, have a good weekend, (I know, it's all a weekend now)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40am kuba:

sure... i always get curious when people opt for the state because everything more specific sounds confusing... bonus for me: the sound of "saxony-anhalt" :)
Avatar 5:40am Bill Mac:

Later Brian! See you next time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40am Stanley:

Me, (damn), I've got a client turned up early.
Thanks Bill, catch you again real soon, I hope.
Avatar 5:40am Brian in UK:

Thanks, Stanley. That invite is open to you too.
Avatar 5:41am Bill Mac:

You will Stan! Thanks for the visit!
Avatar 5:41am Bill Mac:

The coop is mine!
  5:42am -> Ming thr Merciless <-:

@kuba: Hahá! Which city? Mine is "Buckow"!
  5:43am Gary Nodge:

Ahh the days just keep getting shorter
Avatar 5:45am Sem:

Porter. An apt name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47am kuba:

halle saale
Avatar 5:48am Sem:

What is it they say about the chidren and grandchildren of accomplished people? #111 is proof of concept.
Avatar 5:51am Davee:

Avatar 5:52am Sem:

Maxine, thanks for illustrating the spins this morning.
This is where I get off the Zzzzzzero Hour bus. Take care, Bill, all, and hope to see everyone some serendipitous day again.
Avatar 5:53am Bill Mac:

Hi Dave, time for me to disappear! See you.
Avatar 5:54am Bill Mac:

Hey everyone, always a gas to hang with you. See you next time I'm up here in JC.... have a good summer!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56am Ken From Hyde Park:

I'm awake now, Bill. You can start the show now.
Avatar 5:57am Bill Mac:

Ken, we have a timing problem. Catch you next time?

Next time, indeed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59am Ken From Hyde Park:

Next time, indeed!
  6:00am Bill Proe:

Good morning from Deerfield Beach
  6:00am Gary Nodge:

You know I’m on the road to DC!
Keep on bakin!
  6:00am studioghost in Englewood:

Dentist today. :(
  8:34pm will:

Hey Bill, ongoing fan and life swagger Will here, listened to your June 22, 2018, where you juxtaposed Spinal Tap and Strawbs. I need help because I love that song Tears and Pavan and also love Spinal Tap but the segue made me realize is that my whole world may be folly. I'd also like to know if Reiner and co. had heard that Strawbs song.
