Avatar 3:05pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

This failure is still so new, yet i have been made so very happy.
Avatar 3:07pm geezerette:

Nothing succeeds like failure.
Avatar 3:07pm TDK60:

Hola Fabio. Could be here early today.
Avatar 3:09pm chocolate monk:

the failure of tariffs on gurps!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm melinda:

hi all. I usually don't arrive in time for Mr. Giant Man, but today I did!
Avatar 3:09pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Whew, glad this wasn't replaced by Mr. Dunut Man!
Avatar 3:12pm geezerette:

Tariff all tariffs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm chris:

strength through donuts?
Avatar 3:13pm geezerette:

Don't nuts.
Avatar 3:14pm geezerette:

Do nuts?
Avatar 3:15pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Avatar 3:16pm geezerette:

Avatar 3:16pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

....further convinced that Gate can do no wrong.
Avatar 3:16pm chocolate monk:

@Rev. you cant tariff or subsidize the inner light/gurp. Thank the lard!
Avatar 3:21pm geezerette:

Muzik as annoying as it is beautiful.
Avatar 3:22pm TDK60:

What's with all the donut talk round Woofmoo recently? Is it because Matt Warwick's show name was changed to a donut theme? And Irwin's yesterday too? For transparency's sake: I'm neither pro- nor anti-donut.
Avatar 3:23pm geezerette:

II will eat them if they're there. Won't hunt them down though.
Avatar 3:24pm geezerette:

...Hunt them down dough...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I made a casual reference to Seven Second Donut on the comments board yesterday morning, so maybe that?
Avatar 3:26pm TDK60:

I donut understand, yet....
Avatar 3:26pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Hell's lung-butter! Should I just preemptively clicky-star this whole blummin' episode now?
Avatar 3:27pm geezerette:

So it's YOUR fault! :)
Avatar 3:27pm TDK60:

Rev. T: I have to break it to you, that that's what you'll have to do.
Avatar 3:29pm geezerette:

(Krispy Kreme, oh Krispy Kreme, you are flaky but I love you.)
Avatar 3:29pm TDK60:

It's true Fabio, the sounds currently emanating from the WFMU Office Towers in Jersey City have the potential for stardom.
Avatar 3:32pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

also: have had a Günter Schickert LP on th'discogs watch list for ages, may have to pull the trigger now. AND add that Dew Line one as well... this program can get expensive.
Avatar 3:32pm geezerette:

And seamless, like one continuous composition.
Avatar 3:34pm future transport:

the donut is a torus
  3:34pm nic:

i want to make my paintings look like this music sounds..........
Avatar 3:40pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

..... & looks like the artist is a collab with Günter Schickert+Pharoah Chromium, "OXTLR" being the release name. But yes. Sounds fab, Fab. www.discogs.com...
Avatar 3:42pm TDK60:

Fabio, maybe get your sec'y to send a note to the execs higher up in the Towers, for more equip?
Avatar 3:42pm geezerette:

nic, me too. Makes me sad that music is always more powerful to most people than painting.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm melinda:

@TDK Many show names were changed to involve donuts, I was hoping for even more
Avatar 3:46pm Fabio:

@Rev. Turnip Druid: tHANKS - MY "LAZY EYE" got the better of me here. fixed on the playlist now.
  3:50pm nic:

Avatar 3:55pm TDK60:

Avatar 4:11pm coelacanth∅:

Avatar 4:18pm geezerette:

Avatar 4:21pm geezerette:

...hey g! ...Gggggggg!
Avatar 4:23pm V Priceless:

that explains it : )
Avatar 4:24pm geezerette:

Fabio, ripped from the headlines.
Avatar 4:24pm chocolate monk:

you are a sicko, Fab
Avatar 4:25pm coelacanth∅:

i got around that "how to" problem by not talking to girls at parties.
  4:25pm wfmu listener phillip:

frankenstein created woman! i loved that movie. a hammer films classic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm melinda:

Klute was a great movie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Devin B.:

Klute is great!
Avatar 4:27pm geezerette:

I'm fonda Jane.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm melinda:

@geeze haha, me too
  4:27pm wfmu listerner phillip:

HEY! no trash talk about hammer films or peter cushing! i grew up idolizing him and christopher lee and vincent price. they were ny hereos
Avatar 4:29pm TDK60:

This Heat was unique as they came out of the punk/new wave time, but sounded like nobody else, right?
Avatar 4:30pm coelacanth∅:

i'm giving up on trying to make a joke about fondue jane that doesn't sound either gross or otherwise somehow inappropriate.
Avatar 4:32pm geezerette:

Ha, Melinda! :)
Avatar 4:33pm TDK60:

Vincent Price was a gas. Always felt as a kid I could've talked him out of slicing me up and instead have tea, and he would've agreed. In real life, he spoke out against racism back in the '50s when it was not yet acceptable for caucasians.
Avatar 4:34pm geezerette:

coel, it's icky but funny! Barbarella is great but cheesy!
Avatar 4:34pm Joel St. Germain:

This is so good.
  4:36pm ploughboy:

Why does laughter so easily sound demented?
  4:39pm nic:

love !!!
Avatar 4:39pm coelacanth∅:

geez i have barbarella on video tape that my brother must've recorded off hbo or something. i have a vcr or 2 too, but i'll probably never watch that or any of the other hundred or more tapes i ended up with.
(that one did tempt me though)

Avatar 4:44pm TDK60:

Off-topic, but I've been posting France May-June 1968 graffitis on various WFMU shows: "Barricades close the roads, but open the way."
Avatar 4:46pm northguineahills:

I've heard that Mark Vernon sampled by dj olive.
  4:50pm ploughboy:

Does this album have a track titled "Happy Ending"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm mrdonutsu:

Get off my donut!
Avatar 5:05pm chocolate monk:

Strength Through Failure is the hole in your doughnut. Play some PHIL MINTON, Fab!
Avatar 5:08pm TDK60:

Failure is the heart of the Woofmoo Federation.
Avatar 5:08pm Fredericks:

McLuhan had an extra artery to his brain.
Avatar 5:19pm geezerette:

It's good to have spares.
Avatar 5:21pm Fredericks:

His brain needed it. What a thinker!
Avatar 5:26pm TDK60:

A roommate has turned on a vacuum cleaner that is pleasantly blending with this smash hit.
  5:30pm P.Ubu:

I ran my vacuum cleaner today"There's a vacuum cleaner in my head"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm common:

Fabio, all!
Avatar 5:32pm dale:

late joinging the board - great show as usual. suits today's weather.
  5:33pm ploughboy:

I heard a coworker walking in heels through my headphones and it brought back the distinct and totally consistent-over-time sound of my cat Jenny's puking
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm Ken From Hyde Park:

"Wires of Glass" sounds much more elegant then "Fiber Optic Cables."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm chris:

is there good bandwidth here?
yes, we have wires of glass
ooooooooooo, nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm chris:

agreed, KenFHP.

Tout Va Bien. More Jane.

( Born in Finland, but living in Belgium )
Avatar 5:49pm TDK60:

I've heard that, chris...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm Michael 98145:

don't they also feed brewery waste to oinkers?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm chris:

and to chickens, too, Michael. happy farm animals!
  5:50pm ploughboy:

I would guess that Roberto means once you touch infinity, mentally, you (and your matter) are forever changed and you or some part of you might become infinite or merge with the infinite

  5:52pm ploughboy:

Avatar 5:52pm geezerette:

This sounds like glass harmonica.
  5:53pm nic:

Avatar 5:54pm coelacanth∅:

Thanks Fabio
Avatar 5:54pm dale:

is this from the ghost and mr. chicken?
Avatar 5:55pm TDK60:

Fine show Fabio.. the selections soothing yet energizing somehow...I can't put it in words. Next week?
Avatar 5:55pm geezerette:

Thanks Fabio!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm chris:

grazie, Fabio!
  5:57pm Brendan:

Great show. I dig what you’re laying down, man.
Avatar 5:59pm TDK60:

"seamless" as geezerette said back in the 3 o'clock hour.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Carmichael:
