Yeah, our rail system sucks. Our governor, Skeletor, decided not to take money from the Obama administration that was earmarked for a high speed railway. Somehow, central FL in the last decade built a commuter railway (opened in 2014) that goes about 32 miles/51 km. They are expanding south right now and plan to expand it north. It actually connects w/ Amtrak.
