Sleep late, Mary?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm doctorjazz:

No drapes, bad sign...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Oh no, the tax man took the curtains!
Avatar 12:17pm Mary Wing:

Heh heh. No, the curtains were at the cleaners.
Hi Brian, doctorjazz, and Ken! I wish sleeping late had been an option today, heh.
Avatar 12:17pm βrian:

My EEG has gone pleasantly sinuous.
Avatar 12:29pm βrian:

Ugh, here comes the snow again:
"Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible."
Avatar 12:30pm Mary Wing:

W-H-U-T-?-? Where are you located, Brian?
Avatar 12:34pm βrian:

On the isthmus. Madison, WI.
Avatar 12:37pm Mary Wing:

Ah, Wisconsin. Winter lasts a long time there, doesn't it?
Avatar 12:41pm Sem:

Good day, Mary, βrian, Dr. J. and the 100% listening closely both near and far.

Just back from the Continent, boy are my arms ever tired.
Avatar 12:45pm Mary Wing:

Welcome home, Sem!

Appropos of nothing, Sem, were you the guy who once mentioned that you buy berets made in France from a company in New Zealand?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm Jeff Golick:

I, too, am feeling Kranky today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm Webhamster Henry:

Shoutout to Microtonality!
Avatar 12:53pm Mary Wing:

Howdy Kranky Jeff and Henry! Welcome to Wednesday whatever!
Avatar 12:53pm βrian:

April snow is really rare here. Sometimes in late march.
Avatar 12:53pm Sem:

Yes, Mary. Meet Dutchman Dann here: beretandboina.blogspot.com
Avatar 12:53pm βrian:

This is awfully Twin-Peaksy.
Avatar 12:55pm βrian:

@Sem: Glad to hear you're no longer inContinent.
Avatar 12:57pm βrian:

Ach, more meetings ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00pm Webhamster Henry:

I thought this was Marianne Faithfull singing Gethsemane.
Avatar 1:01pm Mary Wing:

Yeah, Sem, I found a browser tab for his store ( I have many, many tabs open, oy) but couldn't remember where I'd heard about it. I think it's pretty funny that your berets travel practically around the globe to get to you.
Avatar 1:05pm holland oats:

currently watching the twin peaks return featurettes, perfect!
Avatar 1:05pm Sem:

Love my berets, and the fact that Dann fills a very useful niche by stocking a variety not just from France and Spain but elsewhere, and gets them to me in under two weeks, and at a good price. Bad experiences w/ *continental* beret makers was in the end a godsend.
Avatar 1:06pm Mary Wing:

Hey there Holland Oats! I still need to watch the new Twin Peaks, I feel so out of the loop.
Avatar 1:07pm Mary Wing:

Wow, who knew you could mess up a beret?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm Webhamster Henry:

I think the standard WFMU Gesthemene (beside Muppet Christ Superstar) is this Japanese one:
  1:16pm Ike:

Kermit did it better! (But at least this gives me a good reference point, since I've never heard a "real" version of this before IIRC.)
Avatar 1:24pm Mary Wing:

Hi Ike! Never heard a "real" version? The sign of a true freeform listener, heh!
Avatar 1:25pm Roberto:

He is so gay indeed.
  1:26pm rw:

Funny thing about this song I know a guy named David Watts.
Avatar 1:26pm northguineahills:

Wait, I thought this was 100% Whatever, not Inner Ear Detour!
Avatar 1:32pm northguineahills:

Early REM!
Avatar 1:32pm Mary Wing:

Hullo Roberto, RW, and NGH! It's time for faster songs, I guess.
Avatar 1:36pm Roberto:

Mmm yummy Cake!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49pm Webhamster Henry:

The most psychedelic Batman!
Avatar 1:49pm northguineahills:

Fuzz Bananas!

@Henry: There's also the Sun Ra version.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49pm Parq:

Brazilian Batman, lotsa fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:51pm Webhamster Henry:

This guy is just counting up and down to ten.
Avatar 1:51pm northguineahills:

Of course I have this Conet comp....
Avatar 1:52pm northguineahills:

@Henry: da, it's a numbers station.
Avatar 1:53pm Mary Wing:

But what does it MEAN? Those pesky Russians!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54pm Webhamster Henry:

@ngh I know Conet well! I was going to use some of their recordings in my app Enumero .. but I wanted more than just single digits.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54pm Webhamster Henry:

I suppose I could use a different language for each digit place.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Webhamster Henry:

I made counting in Hex and Binary Conettty sounding though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Ike:

The main characters in the TV series The Americans (filmed in Gowanus) check numbers stations sometimes for their orders.
Avatar 1:57pm northguineahills:

@Henry: Putting numbers in different languages in sequential order is one way to mess up ones brain. I know, even if I new the words, I'd be flummoxed like a quizzical dog.
  1:58pm rw:

Just arrived at work with a box of doughnuts. Gotta go. Thanks Mary! Here’s a photo I took of David Watts a few years ago: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/40/c4/c7/40c4c7454bff46f95499fc94413cbfc9.jpg

/preview is your friend.....
Avatar 1:58pm northguineahills:

Thanks rw!
Avatar 1:59pm Mary Wing:

Donuts, aw!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01pm Webhamster Henry:

@ngh as I state on Enumero's web page,
Enumero v1.2.1 is in the App Store now, in the Music and Utility Sections!
And I use the word "Utility" really loosely.

Avatar 2:03pm βrian:

Is this Québecois? Some odd idioms.
Avatar 2:04pm northguineahills:

Definitely enable a function in the version of the app to randomly verbalized numbers ordinally in different languages!

Quebecois is the only French I know.....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm Parq:

Je vais probablement get hit by a bus.
Avatar 2:07pm northguineahills:

certainement telecharger cette application plus tard.
Avatar 2:07pm northguineahills:

JaJa, Parq!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Webhamster Henry:

You can sing along with Popcorn - there are some lyrics:
Much more popcorn is found here:
Avatar 2:29pm northguineahills:

Oh, I see Mary already has the Tommy James angle covered....
Avatar 2:30pm Mary Wing:

There's a Tommy James angle?
Avatar 2:31pm northguineahills:

@Mary, it's a little obtuse...
Avatar 2:33pm Mary Wing:

Pffft. Walked right into the one, didn't I?
Avatar 2:35pm northguineahills:

Avatar 2:37pm northguineahills:

Off to get auto parts and figure out lunch, thanks Mary!
Avatar 2:38pm Mary Wing:

Ciao, NGH, chow down!
Avatar 2:39pm Mary Wing:

Oh wait, one of your fave new songs is coming up next!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm doctorjazz:

This sounds like the theme of some BBC TV show I used to watch, can't place it...
Avatar 2:47pm david w:

Drifting in and out today, seems to be in rhythm with your playlist... hi Mary and all!
Avatar 2:51pm Mary Wing:

Hey David, ready to pass the electronic reigns!
Avatar 2:51pm Mary Wing:

Now that you mention it, doctorjazz, yeah, it does does sound like a TV theme.
Avatar 2:52pm βrian:

Has Puddles covered this one?
Avatar 2:55pm Mary Wing:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm doctorjazz:

Some detective show, I think the one with David Tenant, Broadchurch? could be wrong, but one of them was almost identical.
Great show, Mary, thanks!
Avatar 2:56pm βrian:

Puddles Pity Party. Quite the voice. He covered Lorde at least once.
Avatar 2:57pm Mary Wing:

heh. I will check that out!
Avatar 2:58pm βrian:

Avatar 3:00pm Mary Wing:

Thanks for listening, have a great day!
