Listener comments!

  12:06am rich:

good morning everyone,
here is something for the eyes: www.gercoderuijter.com
  12:10am zopa:

kites, balloons, and fishing poles. nice. thanks rich..
  12:14am yippie:

do they have a kite that lets you fish for birds in the sky
  12:16am rich:

gulls would be the sea robins of the air
  12:22am rich:

starlings would be your catch and release bird
  12:26am zopa:

not the hummingbird?
  12:29am rich:

hummingbirds are the prize
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30am coelacanth∅:

hello rich & rodent carcassoid dirigibles
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32am coelacanth∅:

good to hear that Paul Bley
(rest in peace)
  12:36am rich:

i think with birds smaller are your trophies. hummingbirds and kestrels are especially prized. though admittedly fishing for an ostrich is tempting.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am coelacanth∅:

i'd try to snag a bald eagle for the dogs to have a good time with
  12:41am zopa:

and the pride comes from your collection of lures. especially if you tie your own.
  12:44am rich:

floating varmints make the best lures
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48am coelacanth∅:

or, if one is fishing in the sky, inflatable carcasses
  12:49am zopa:

i've heard it said in some bird fishing circles that the hummingbirds prefer delicate red petals, and that you don't want to much slack in your cast. they are a skittish lot.
  12:52am rich:

bathing your bait in nectar is always a good rule to follow (for hummingbirds)
  1:09am rich:

kestrels though demand blood which i guess is nectar for them
  1:14am zopa:

any lure that can reflect ultraviolet light is sure to attract the kestrel.
  1:30am sinner:

catalpa worms
  1:34am sinner:

sorry. thought y'all talking fishing.
  1:41am zopa:

any thoughts on how to hook a raven?
  2:18am rich:

shiny objects
  2:54am rich:

and thank you for listening all. next week live performance from Jessica Moss followed by the continuing saga of more of the same. have a pleasant week.

good evening, Rich! (Saturday, that is!)
was listening last night, but not able to be anywhere near online (bummer)
PURE HEAVEN hearing PYROLATER! THANK YOU for reminding me how cool and great and wonderful they were/are! :)
"Im Zoo" is happy sunshine on a gloomy night -- what joy!
and, please correct me if i am wrong, but wasn't "Im Zoo" the opening song for a WFMU DJ some years ago???
thanks again, hope you are having a fantastic weekend!
