Good morning, all.

I first heard both Rock Therapy and Whistle Bait as essential elements of the repertoire of a band called Charlie Burton and Rock Therapy, back in '79. Charlie wasn't a rockabilly revivalist, he just loved the songs. Charlie's son Matt is a dedicated WFMU listener.

Takes me back to the 70’s when as a kid I’d sneak out w/ friends and a few beers out to the stretch of road and watch the older guy street race ( mostly Mopars - Roadrunners, Challengers etc. and a few Mustangs and Camaros )
Cars were much more interesting, quirky and colorful then.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36am steveo:

i posted to facebook this weekend about how the springsteen version of blinded by the light is much more interesting to me than the huge hit by Manfred Mann's band. My NJ friend commented to say that "Bruce's is the ONLY version."
