I was at the Jethro Tull/Roxy Music show at MSG on December 8, 1972. A life-changing moment. The next day I bought the first Roxy album at Alexander's on Queens Blvd and that was that.

I mean, holy shit, I felt this way about the acts Sal is talking about just listening to them 25 years after the fact. I can't imagine what it must've been to experience this show live while this music was actually happening. This is fantastic! Double points for being from NYC. I have the book on the way!
