  Sat. 9/23/17 1:44pm V Priceless:

Sparks record is brilliant! Missed that and Doc Thomas as signal comes and goes here in the shed! Watts album is 'He's Real Gone' - pun intended. Overend was a riot right until the end! What a way to go!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 9/23/17 1:45pm Brian in UK:

The group that sang Billy Dont be a Hero.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 9/23/17 2:06pm Brian in UK:

The greatest - Levon Helm.
Avatar    Sat. 9/23/17 2:06pm Sem Chumbo:

Billy Don't Be a Hero" is a 1974 pop song that was first a UK hit for Paper Lace and then, some months later, a US hit for Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods.

Avatar Sat. 9/23/17 2:09pm Bill Mac:

Uncle Micheal would have taken me to task with Levon Helm - I think I fixated on a certain kind of drummer or a drummer from a certain kind of band

Sat. 9/23/17 2:19pm pacific standard simon:

Bill, you deserve to know that Ratty is driving a zucchini racer here in town even as we frolic on the internet. I'm a jerk for not attending, but I only just woke up.

Thanks Simon - oh how the mighty have fallen

Jungle Cumbia!
Sat. 9/23/17 2:27pm pacific standard simon:

For those who don't have a similar event in their neighborhood, a zucchini race is like a soap box derby but with a zucchini in place of the crate.
Avatar Sat. 9/23/17 2:28pm Bill Mac:

That must be one big ass zucchini - he said knowingly - nudge nudge
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sat. 9/23/17 2:30pm Stanley:

That makes it more of a marrow, in my book.
Avatar Sat. 9/23/17 2:33pm Bill Mac:
