Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Fox (Rā-chul):

WHOOOOO! Pigface was probably the best show i ever went to.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm coe:

@fox do you remember what tour?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm Gaylord Fields:

@coe: Exactly. I had my VOIVOD sustenance, and now I'm ready for the next course.
Avatar 12:16pm Diane Kamikaze:

Hey @Fox! Joel has been a member of Pigface for awhile, not sure how long, guess they've been around for a helluva long time now...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm coe:

Yeah they released their first album Gub all the way back in 91. Not sure when Joe came in
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Fox (Rā-chul):

Um... 1998 I saw them with FM Einheit and some crazy Genesis filmed bits inbetween as Eva Braun / Hitler screaming. At Tramps. It was craziness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm coe:

That would be the tour in between the times I saw them :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm Fox (Rā-chul):

Diane: yeah, the list of members is ridiculously long and varied. I think Penn Jillette is even a past member?
Avatar 12:21pm V Priceless:

Zats, my Voivod alarm failed to go off. Belated Voivod! !! !!!
Avatar 12:58pm Polyus:

@Diane: Thomas Fischer (Triptykon/Celtic Frost etc) wrote a bit for The Quietus on the music that impacted him most, and it made me think what an awesome Peer Pressure guest he would make. Is something like that even doable?
Avatar 12:59pm Diane Kamikaze:

I'm not sure, @polyus, will check!
Avatar 1:00pm Polyus:

I mean, this is a pretty great list: thequietus.com...
Avatar 1:14pm Cecile:

Guten Tag, alles!
Avatar 1:15pm Cecile:

I'm still holding out for Hellvetika as a Peer Pressure guest. She's cranky, but she could be fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16pm DreamCricket:

Joel signed my copy of his book in my hometown - really nice guy!
I grew up on the Broken Heroes and Squiggy.
Avatar 1:19pm Cecile:

my square sister really likes Pigface for some reason.
Avatar 1:20pm Cecile:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm joe:

The first album primarily consisted of members of Ministry's Mind Is A Terrible Thing.. tour. Martin felt that all that talent on the tour was being wasted as a "Ministry cover band" and they should be able to come up with something incredible. That album features pretty much everybody frmo that tour but Al :)

Here is the pledge music link for the remastered GUB by Pigface:

Because Jesus Lizard were the game changer. Scratch Acid were the precursor
Avatar 1:27pm Cecile:

Scratch Acid were alpha and omega for me. I know lots of people like the Jesus Lizard though. I was kind of joking. Like I call Nirvana a Scream spinoff band
  1:27pm J Dream:

I just call him "David from Qui"
  1:27pm pierre:

  1:28pm J Dream:

*Grohl era Scream doesn't count as Scream. I don't know what that crap was

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm coe:

Avatar 2:28pm V Priceless:

always wondered if the title 'Junior's Eyes' was a ref to the UK band of the same name (that also backed Bowie circa '69 around the time of 'Space Oddity')
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm steveo:

Bill [Ward] and I were in the studio rehearsing one day and out of the blue I asked him, "May I set you on fire, Bill?" And he said, "Well, not now, not now." [-Wikipedia]
Avatar 2:45pm Polyus:

Crazy to imagine an alternate timeline in which Ozzy never came back, and the recorded that last album with Dave Walker. I wonder if they would have just fallen apart after the tour anyway?
Avatar 2:47pm Cheri Pi:

Mike Hudson, another illustrious Peer Pressure guest!
