Bill Mac! Happy Sunday
Avatar 6:05am Bill Mac:

Morning KP! Same to you. Wow, light and cross ventization, my favorite
Avatar 6:05am Sem Chumbo:

You could fry an aboriginals armpit and it would be as ambrosial as an angels kiss.
Hello, Bill. KP, KIng C..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:07am Slinky:

Good morning, Bill, KP, Sem Chem
Avatar 6:08am Bill Mac:

@Sem Took the words right out of my mouth. Morning folkies....
Avatar 6:09am fred:

Good morning Bill and listeners. Nice to hear you again, on the WFMU stream to boot. Not that it makes any difference to me, but I like the idea that your show is also flying through the air
Avatar 6:10am Bill Mac:

@Fred Overall nice to be here. Back tomorrow for Joe's Surface Noise
Avatar 6:11am Sem Chumbo:

Avatar 6:11am Brian in UK:

Hey Bill and sunsation seekers, going all Meatloaf this early.
Avatar 6:14am Sem Chumbo:

Just in time for the retiree early bird luncheon special. BiUK.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14am mauri:

Hey Bill and good sunday to all.
Avatar 6:16am Bill Mac:

Meatloaf huh... I'll bet he'd taste good fried...
Avatar 6:17am Sem Chumbo:

Hello, mauri.
Avatar 6:17am Bill Mac:

Avatar 6:24am Brian in UK:

mauri, been out on the lake or playing music?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24am Stanley:

That's a seriously boring cover for the Tenores di Bitti record. Or am I missing something, here?
Avatar 6:25am Brian in UK:

Sem, as soon as I remember where I left my teeth or anyone's for that matter I will be there.
Avatar 6:26am Sem Chumbo:

Good god, BiUK, you're retired. Who needs teeth?
Avatar 6:26am Bill Mac:

If you look real close at the group picture you'll see Ringo in there
Avatar 6:26am Brian in UK:

I keep them in a jar by the door, like Eleanor.
Avatar 6:27am Brian in UK:

Is he the one without drawers on?
Avatar 6:29am Bill Mac:

Ringo is dead
Avatar 6:31am Sem Chumbo:

Googoo gajoob.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32am mauri:

Brian, last weekend I was mixing at the local two day festival, Kontufolk. I also did some recording on my own but I gotta rehearse more. Ive forgotten how my songs go. I spent a night on an island and been on my friends boat. Today I might go rowing. Its a cool summers day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33am mauri:

Ringo was murdered by Paul.
Avatar 6:34am Sem Chumbo:

Nice catch on that Kacy and Clayton. Bill.
  6:35am Jeff Conklin:

Sounding great! Tuning in on RT 17 N heading to the Catskills.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38am Parq:

Mac! I completely forgot you were going to be on this morning. Of course, I wasn't expecting to be up this early; long story. Nice to be here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39am Stanley:

I think Ringo is a health fanatic and living very happily with his money in Los Angeles.
Avatar 6:42am Bill Mac:

@Jeff@Parq Good to see you guys here early! You too Stanley
Avatar 6:45am KP:

Still here?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45am Stanley:

Phew! I thought it was Yoko, sneaking in.
Avatar 6:47am fred:

@Stanley 6:39: Now that corporations are people, the next step would be to grant that to money itself. Then money could file for divorce. That should scare the 1%
Avatar 6:48am Bill Mac:

@KP You asking me or telling me?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49am Parq:

Avatar 6:50am Bill Mac:

That's right.... not bad huh?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50am Stanley:

V Priceless. Nice one Vincent.
Avatar 6:50am KP:

I mean, I'm sill here, apparently
Avatar 6:51am Bill Mac:

and I'm here most certainly...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51am Guido from Cologne:

Good morning Bill!
Great to have you again!
Avatar 6:52am Bill Mac:

How do, Guido!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:02am Stanley:

@fred: I often think what would happen if inheritance (after say, up to £1m per child) was taxed at 100%. Great basis for a book.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10am Stanley:

Bill, thanks for the forewarning.
Avatar 7:13am Bill Mac:

No worries Stan
  7:19am mauri:

you pick the songs. I pick the berries. its a fine sunday.
Avatar 7:21am Bill Mac:

I'll bet it is. We're starting to get the good weather back. July was murder at times
Avatar 7:31am Sem Chumbo:

Interesting juxtaposition between Doors and The Guess Who, contemporaneous bands, era-wise. Don't recall hearing the Nashville Sneakers tune ever on AM Canadian radio.
Avatar 7:36am Bill Mac:

This particular Guess Who album was a sleeper, but it's my favorite.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37am Uncle Michael:

Bill, you wacky cat. Did I really just wake up to a Doors/Guess Who comparison...or was I still dreaming?
Avatar 7:38am Bill Mac:

@UM Not a dream my friend. I've been up for almost 6 hours so there is no excuse. Wasn't a Doors fan so much, but I do find I like most of what I hear.
Avatar 7:40am fred:

I haven't seen The Ex in a while, but I absolutely endorse De Boer. It took him a year or two to find his footing, but he belongs
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40am Uncle Michael:

I always have, and still do love the Guess Who. Of course, they ultimately jumped the shark pretty hard but what can you do?
Avatar 7:43am Bill Mac:

@Fred He's pretty enthusiastic performer. caught him in Philly on the last tour. There's video of them playing here. Well worth looking for it out in websville.
Avatar 7:44am Bill Mac:

UM Me too Mike, they were the first band I found myself looking for on the radio after the Beatles and the Stones.
Avatar 7:49am Sem Chumbo:

Like the way the Al Kooper organ drones in the bg, pretty melody, tasty simple arrangement. Thanks for this one, Bill
Avatar 7:50am Bill Mac:

That was a goodie
  7:54am DL in LA:

Cool XTC track. Never heard it.
Avatar 7:55am Bill Mac:

@DLLA Their 1st two albums were more punk than pop. Good stuff
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00am karankeeone:

Good morning, Bill. I just looked online for El Masyreen Band and found the "Bahebek La" album/song, but the song doesn't sound anything like what you played--no conga drums or female voice/s at all. Is your playlist incorrect in the song's name? Please help! Nice playlist today!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:02am Parq:

Does King Gizzard send Father's Day cards to Ivor Cutler?
Avatar 8:03am Bill Mac:

He does sound like he lives under the steps of the Cutler household
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03am karankeeone:

Couldn't find anything for a band called: "Al Massereen".
Avatar 8:05am Bill Mac:

karankeeone: habibifunkrecords.bandcamp.com... .... check song number 12
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12am Stanley:

Hey Bill, think that truck is good?
Check this baby:
  8:14am Neil M:

Just great stuff all morning, Bill. Thanks for the abundance of jam.
Avatar 8:14am Bill Mac:

@Stanley I will return to this at my leisure.... sounds good from my comfy chair though
Avatar 8:15am Bill Mac:

@Neil Tanks a heep mon!
Avatar 8:17am Sem Chumbo:

Stanley: awesome link. Ten hours of 96Htz drone, and one million nine hundred thousand views. This is a world I no longer understand.
Avatar 8:18am Bill Mac:

@Sem You mean you use to understand it?
Avatar 8:21am Bill Mac:

This just gave me a bad idea.... On the off chance we all have three hours of free time simultaneous, I propose an fully interactive - I play something, you play something in reply.... it would be a full on three hours of riffing on each others reaction to whatever is playing/listening.

I now await the sound of crickets
Avatar 8:22am Bill Mac:

I guess you would post something rather than reply or play something back...
Avatar 8:22am Sem Chumbo:

You are of course correct, BM.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24am Ken From Hyde Park:

I like how the ice breaker video has relaxing snowflakes dancing around to complete the relaxation effect.
Avatar 8:24am Bill Mac:

I'll just stand over here then...
Avatar 8:26am Sem Chumbo:

There, there. Harry makes it all better.
Avatar 8:28am Bill Mac:

For all I know the programming suddenly changed to Ten hours of 96Htz drone
I can't wait to listen myself
Avatar 8:28am Brian in UK:

Bill, If you want cricket. England are playing South Africa in the Fourth Test at Old Trafford.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:29am Stanley:

I think that is a great idea, Bill.
I used to do just that with a colleague when we were alone in the office. Something along the lines of 'I'll raise your Cramps track with this by The Fiend etc'
Like poker until the other goes 'bust'
Too many rules, I know but you get the gist.
Avatar 8:30am Bill Mac:

I can always depend on you two nutters...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:31am Stanley:

'Cricket, lovely cricket'
Avatar 8:33am Brian in UK:

That ice breaker reminds me of Steve McQueen in The Sandpebbles for some reason. He was in the engine room drifting up the Yangtze.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33am Stanley:

For instance the above song by Lord Beginner would be known as being bowled a 'googly'
Avatar 8:37am Brian in UK:

Depends if you are bowling to a left or right hander. If left hander there will be more rough for the spinner to bowl into from the footmarks left by other bowlers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37am Guido from Cologne:

Still here and listening, but doing the cleaning and finally ... yes, relaxing.
Loved the show so far.
Avatar 8:38am Sem Chumbo:

Loved the book,. BiUK. Claustrophobic under-decks atmosphere, and plenty of Chinese/American mutual bigotry Naturally, anything w/ SMcQ in it is by definition laudable..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41am Stanley:

Steve McQ - agreed.
Hey Guido, me too. Kitchen and Khazi, both done to a shine and an overall smell of piney freshness.
Avatar 8:42am Brian in UK:

Bill, we went to see The Big Sick the other night. Good film based on a true story. Hate the term Rom-Com but it does have elements of that.

Sem, the film adaptation is OK. I lost all hope in film after reading Von Ryans Express and he escapes on the train. In the film starring Frank Sinatra, he is killed in the final scene. To a thirteen year old this was impossible to conceive. Oh Hollywood.
Avatar 8:44am Bill Mac:

This is just what i'm talking about. You guys always have some kind of usable information
Avatar 8:45am Sem Chumbo:

Sure, Bill. Like I want to know what cleanser Stanley is using. Gotta get the lowtide stink of lobster out of the house...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46am Guido from Cologne:

big Judy!
Avatar 8:46am Bill Mac:

I didn't mean to imply that you don't have to wait for the gems...
mmmmm piney freshness....
Avatar 8:49am Sem Chumbo:

Ah, seems I left that icebreaker audio running under your show for the past while. Thought maybe I had a low-level inner ear infection there for a bit.
Avatar 8:49am Brian in UK:

The Dark end of the Armitage Shanks.

Piney freshness, my arse.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49am Stanley:

Sem - just the supermarket own brands, for that sort of shit, here at chez Stanley. (Now, of course, I have to get the stink of piney pong out of the house)
Avatar 8:50am Sem Chumbo:

Don't tempt me, BiUK.
Avatar 8:53am Bill Mac:

@Stanley Yep... too much of a good thing
Avatar 8:53am Sem Chumbo:

Looks like twice a year visits to RAF Benson for the next few years, using it as a base to visit the Continent, or the incontinent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55am Stanley:

Sem?? Isn't RAF Benson where they test aircraft? You trying to tell us something?
Avatar 8:56am Bill Mac:

OK Folks, I'm draggin myself out of here. I'll be back in just over 24 hours... Stay well until then!
Avatar 8:56am KP:

I dig Groundhogs!
Avatar 8:56am Bill Mac:

If you're interested in when I'll be doing fill-ins click on the "E-mail Bill Mac" link at bottom of my playlist and I'll keep you posted on upcoming shows.
Avatar 8:56am Sem Chumbo:

Fred and his big ring on slide. The best stuff, Bill. Thanks for this morning, see you tomorrow no doubt.
Stanley: close family member stationed there. He's closer in Benson than in British Columbia, so trips abroad are planned.
Avatar 8:57am Bill Mac:

I was trying to figger out how to scare you up!
  8:57am mauri:

Bye Bill.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:58am Stanley:

A great way to spend a Sunday morning.
Thanks Bill. Take care, till next time.
Avatar 8:58am Brian in UK:

Nice one, Bill.

Sem, we will get a rendevouz sorted.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:59am Parq:

Dig you next time, Mac. Drive safe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:59am Stanley:

Sem - we'll scramble the squadron for you.
Avatar 9:00am KP:
