Oh Skully, 20 years later and I'm still in love with you.

Morning, Tomek! How's life in Poland this day?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45am
CarolCrow:

Hey SB, I love Scully, too! Skinner was a favorite of mine also :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47am
jkeigh:

My best friend's wife was a dead ringer from Scully back in the 90s. They actually won a Halloween contest one year with her just in a uniform that looked FBI-ish and him dressed as an alien (he doesn't look a thing like David Duchovney)

@ jkeigh: Ha! Funny:)

Hello sufferwords

@ jkeigh: If you're looking for a starting point, check out the film, "Paris, Texas," which he wrote.

northguineahills:

@CarolCrow: Thanks. The end result is worth it. I have a job I can be proud to do (hydrology/soil science for a new firm that helps prosecutes polluters and is helping restore Okeechobee/Everglades). Freelancing or doing soul-destroying jobs in NYC for the NYC gov't or Tech firms was deleting me. I'll miss Brooklyn (I've been there almost 17 years), but having a job I love, and not hemorrhaging money will benefit me in the long run. I have WFMU to make me feel at home. Gracias!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:17am
jkeigh:

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check that out this weekend.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:21am

@northguineahills: Sounds like you are on a much better path! I am so happy for you:)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24am

@ jkeigh: Cool. With Harry Dean Stanton and Natassja Kinski, you can't go wrong.

Holy smithereens! I have this Scorn! What are the chances, I rarely hear them, even on WoofMoo!

Thanks CarolCrow. W/o NYC to distract me, it'll be easier to hear you live. Keep up the good artistry!

If my memory serves me right, from what I've read, Steve Roach started his ambient experiments in the 80s at the Stanford student union hall....

Much to think about at Market today, not least Mr. Huxley's view of the world. So happy to have you to keep me company in the early morning. See you next time, Ms. Crow.
