Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from July 11, 2017 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Always dig the live The Fall tracks you play, Bryce.
I can rarely find them elsewhere afterwards, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm

tfw you're like, I don't feel like listening to the radio right now and then you look at Brian's playlist and you immediately grab your headphones.

Aw, that sucks about Webster Hall, but oh well.
New York doesn't seem to give a shit anymore.
Avatar 3:25pm

this sounds terribly Eno/loud Roxy-like.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm

Hey Brian, you all get in Richard Kirk's *Dasein* yet? Haven't heard any but might have missed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm

great first set here, BT! cheers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm

NYC IS DEAD...I am lucky to have lived there in a time when the Middle and Working class could still survive....Mid 1980's to 2011...it is a shell of it's former self...at least I got to play the Webster Hall once...Saw countless RAMONES shows there...Cramps and DK's also...EMPIRES FALL...

I like it a little faster, but it's a great song.
Avatar 3:51pm

You guys should play Couch Flambeau's version
Avatar 3:54pm

This sounds like Puddle of Mudd with no singing.

This demo is sick.
upsetter5001 (mobile):

Too jammy! I'll pass .

Creamo Coyl:

Damn Orcutt really CAN play everything. That Blueshammer shit he had going before the Star Spangled Banner was top-notch.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm

Terminal is like Circle's love letter to Iron Maiden. Especially live

@brian turner. I found a 4 ft stack of LP's on the curb last night. I didn't look through them yet. But you guys can have them.

@brian turner. I'm like 25 minutes away. I'll look through them and email the sort of things that are there.
Avatar 5:14pm
Brian Turner:

Sincere thanks Medson. Thats great. We generally can use most records.... though not so much croony EZ-listening/Percy Faith style oldies or classical so much.
Avatar 5:18pm
Creamo Coyl:

This is pretty sick. Where they from?

Ok I'll you guys know. I'm like the crazy cat lady when I see records being thrown out. I can't leave em there.

Django LizardKing:

What in the hell have I stumbled into?.... this is absolutely face melting incendiary music. The only thing that would make it better would be a little cowbell.

Razorlegs reminds me of Rudolph Grey. And Django LizardKing, the only thing that would make it better is a little Jim Sauter.
