  12:02am Carmichael:

Nice start, Jeff!
  12:04am Kev in VA:

Hey now, Jeff. Some-time listener, first time commenter. Just wanted to say I've really been digging your show via the archives these last few months. Glad I get to actually catch one live. (Although I'll be down for count well before 3am).
Avatar 12:07am Jeff Conklin:

Thanks, Carmichael.

Hey, Kev, thank for checking in!

Morning, all....
  12:24am zehr:

Avatar 12:27am Jeff Conklin:

@zehr: Mine's red ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12:29am Dooley:

Wastin' my time listening to WFMU... no time better spent!
  12:32am Jeffy from SP-F:

Jeff, just finished Long Strange Trip doc on this sad anniversary. 7/9/95.
  12:33am Eric Hat:

Hi-o Jeff and all. Refreshing this Kevin Ayers, in the high desert rain...
  12:36am Carmichael:

This Ayers is mui excellento.
  12:40am Hippie Jesus:

......what Carmichael said!!!
  12:52am ifisher:

Hi Jeff and fellow listeners, first time tuning in to your show, on account of being half the planet away from home. The sounds are exactly what I need right now, how did you know? thanks!
  12:54am zehr:

@jeff conklin same time period. I just feel like they put out some great stuff during that time and i usually find them cheap.
Avatar 12:56am Jeff Conklin:

@Zehr: I only got into the Traums a year or so ago, cheap records and great records.

@ifisher: Universal vibrations!
  12:57am Guido from Cologne:

Good Morning Jeff!
  12:58am zenkoan:

I love Kevin Ayers' live album with Nico, Eno and John Cale: June 1, 1974. Good times.
  1:10am Sam:

I was just reading another great piece on Cooper from the April 2016 issue of Wire Magazine(Cecil Taylor cover). Didn't know about Coley's piece but will be picking up that new lp.
Avatar 1:11am AdamFromOldeKenzo:

I just remembered that a friend of mine set up a show for Bert Jansch to play in Baltimore at this small restaurant, I was super excited...then he got scooped up for that Neil Young tour...then he passed on. Never got to see him.
Avatar 1:12am AdamFromOldeKenzo:

Ah well, best not to dwell on what could have been, this is a good Toodeloo
Avatar 1:12am BEAVO:

Got to see Bert J open for NY, in ATL most of the audience didn't know who he was and chatted through it.
Avatar 1:14am BEAVO:

Tickets were 250
Avatar 1:14am Jeff Conklin:

Probaly my favorite Half Step right here I think
  1:15am ifisher:

Saw Bert Jansch at the now-extinct Southpaw in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Cannot recall the year - early noughts (aughts)?

Dialed in from Seoul, S. Korea
Avatar 1:16am Jeff Conklin:

@ifisher: I had tickets to that Southpaw show and missed it due to a nuclear breakup with the girl i was dating/living with...
  1:19am ifisher:

Ugh, sorry to stir up a bad memory, Jeff.
  1:20am zenkoan:

Put a sock in it, Donna!
Avatar 1:21am Jeff Conklin:

Ha, no worries, ancient memory!
  1:23am MONEYBAG$:

Nobody puts Donna in the corner
  1:24am Tidy666:

Ahhh..the glory of playing in the early seventies my droogies!thank you from a wee bit up north!
Avatar 1:26am Jeff Conklin:

Currently this is my favorite set of GD music. Just them at the their rural psychedelic best....
  1:32am MONEYBAG$:

I buy most of the official releases but this is one of the only ones I've played a lot
  1:32am MONEYBAG$:

in recent years at least
  1:33am Jeff Conklin:

The transitions!!!
  1:34am Tidy666:

Single drummer dead was a bit more spry...billy playing like a young god!these tapes will live on well after the breakdown...batteries will be such a scarce commodity...trash heap scoured boomboxes will be worshipped...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36am Aitch:

Still waiting for the techno remix....
Avatar 1:36am Jeff Conklin:

@Money: Was this officially released??
  1:36am MONEYBAG$:

If I wanted to play someone a great show it would probably be from the Mickeyless years
  1:37am MONEYBAG$:

its the Denver '73 road trips, which might be out of print
  1:43am MONEYBAG$:

a side note about that release is that it came with a bonus disc with some of 12-6-73 which was a hack job of my favorite show
  1:52am Jeffy from SP-F:

Crazy show, 12/6. Abstract spacey goodness!
  2:04am Eric Hat:

Hey Jeff! Where'd you live in AK? I worked a season in Seward. Kind of instrumental in my landing in Flagstaff...
  2:04am zenkoan:

We Have Heaven sounds more like it would be a Yes tribute band--that's the name of a track on Fragile album.
Avatar 2:05am Jeff Conklin:

I was in Anchorage, working with developmentally disabled adults, part of a college program, summer of 2000
  2:11am Eric Hat:

Cool. I was just packaging fish my girlfriend at the time skillfully cut. Need to get back myself.
  2:35am Clint:

Hello from Reno. Out on the porch, listening in the night.
Avatar 2:38am Jeff Conklin:

Hey, Clint, thanks for checking in!
Avatar 2:40am Mark R:

Two great album titles on the comments board tonight" "Nuclear Breakup" and "Listening in the Night."
Avatar 2:41am terribilia:
