Hey you just played a bunch of Bob, I know that guy. Never noticed that Pen was doing his best Rowland S. Howard on Anonymous Cave before.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/25/17 3:17am coelacanth∅:

I remember a Bloomington band called The Belgian Waffles with whom I was acquainted talk about doing math equations onstage to, in some way, determine the musical direction of a show. I don't know that they ever did it though.
Avatar Sun. 6/25/17 3:46am Creamo Coyl:

Ha I've heard of that band before. Makes me wonder if they're the band who did this song I've been searching for for years, had it on a mix CDR w/ no info. I should dig it up from my old radio show and play it on here. Always had a suspicion it was a Bloomington band. Weird wavo cut.

Oh fuck I didn't even know about that! Thx. Although I don't think any of that stuff up there is stuff I'm playing....
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/25/17 3:52am coelacanth∅:

Avatar Sun. 6/25/17 3:53am Creamo Coyl:

The Basement Tapes has songs from Pale Fire, not sure if they're same recordings, will check after show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/25/17 3:54am coelacanth∅:

...yeah, i only listened to this one for about 15 seconds! i'll check it out tomorrow - not while you're playing them!
Avatar Sun. 6/25/17 4:01am Creamo Coyl:

Yeah I'm looking forward to d/ling myself. Great fucking band. Still mad there was never a proper LP.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/25/17 4:13am coelacanth∅:

all 3 bandcamp things say "released in 2014" - which i read was when they had a reunion -so, we'll see if it's up to this level of Awesome. the few seconds i listened to sounded good, at least.
...either way i'm excited to learn of this band. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/25/17 4:13am coelacanth∅:

aaand, you're saying all this now!
Avatar Sun. 6/25/17 4:22am Creamo Coyl:

They were around 2003-2007 or so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 6/25/17 4:24am coelacanth∅:

there's this...
...apparently the second line-up -the one you just played. reformed in 2014.
Avatar Sun. 6/25/17 4:28am Creamo Coyl:

Yup I remember that, for our friend's bookstore. "Lives of the Saints, which started out as a Bad Brains tribute at a party in 2002" I should've noted this. They practiced in my basement for a month for this and it was pretty much the best cover set I've ever seen.
