PSA: Anyone who cares, 3 of the 5 fidget spinners I bought when I was buying them to avoid drinking during stress are now in the hands of a homeless person on 4th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. So if you want to own a fidget spinner I actually owned, head over to 4th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue and look for the guy who sells stuff under the scaffolding. You’re welcome!!!

Swag For Life Member 3:44pm nightjeans:

Scott, are you trying to derail Don Felder's Heavy Metal (taking a ride) as the most-starred song? Matt Warwick must be alerted immediately and lava lamps fired...

Didn't you hear the news, Scott?
Avatar 3:46pm Serpico:

there's a list for the most clickey starred songs?? why was i not informed?? :O
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm The Oscar:

I fractured my elbow last week, so my girlfriend got me a fidget spinner to keep my fingers from stiffening while I was in the sling. "I just don't see the appeal," I thought to myself as I compulsively spun it for four consecutive hours.
  3:50pm JakeGould:

@GregfromZONE5: 538? The same folks who predicted “Hilary Defeats Trump?” HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Anyway, now I own just two fidget spinners: One of them will be given away to a very special person when I decide what defines “special.”
Avatar 3:52pm Serpico:

fidget spinners are like disco...they'll never die! right guys?
  3:52pm pp:

The SoundOpinions duo chimed in yesterday with WichitaLineman as one of the greatest songs ever. And they also played I.Hayes version of Webb's BTTIGT Phoenix.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14pm joe mulligan:

wow would have sworn this Cluster track was Emeralds or Mark McGuire
  4:15pm pp:

right, they only played a bit of Hayes lead-in rap and then some of the song. The thrill is in the build-up and then transition.
  4:23pm JakeGould:

If you spin your fidget spinner… And then it suddenly spins in the other direction for no apparent reason? That means a storm is a brewing!
Avatar 4:24pm Lixiviated Life:

ok, so it's raining right? or it's gonna rain? or what?

We had a very fine punk/HC band nearby (closer to baltimore, i think) called Phlegm, come to think of it. Mid-late '80s...will have to dig that out tonight, since that Tom Waits thing is still lingering like a post-nasal catastrophe...
