The other Wailers - from Tacoma! This track is sited as the sort of thing Hendrix surely heard growing up in WA state. Which is to say his roots really were Rawk as much as Blues being a Northerner of a certain age group.
Avatar 9:11pm Jeff:

This is hitting the spot.
  9:13pm JakeGould:

Perfect music to kick back and relax to after you just threw out some spring cleaning crap!
Swag For Life Member 9:16pm Steve Krinsky:

Pegasus must have been an FM rock hit. I know every note but never owned any Allman Brothers records.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

No getting past the Allman's musicianship.

Nice show!
  11:00am TM in the PM:

Nice wide variety of music ala Irene/Steve. BTW, the Carter Family are a large part of the first installment of the PBS on the roots of American Music. And for the "record", the Jayhawks, one of my favs, is the backing group on Davies' Americana.
