A tangent - but contrast of these two openers made me think of this 'Classical' fellow's assessment of TheBeatles & their relevance:
- & I'm curious what your opinions might be of it all sometime... If nothing else, it's good for someone like me who isn't fluent in Theory...

Much enjoyment here- thank you Bethany
  8:28pm Listener Gregory:

OK, WFMU experts. Is Teo Macero's name pronounced like Tayo, as Stephanie said it, or like Teeo, as I've been pronouncing it for 25 years, totally based on ignorance?
  8:29pm Listener Gregory:

This is important in part because one needs to refer to the Thelonius Monk song, "Teo," which I was coincidentally whistling today.

Apparently, Teo is short for Attilio (sic), which suggests a Teeo pronunciation. Stephanie, could you please ask your dad?
  8:35pm drummergirl:

Still dancing, thanks Bethany@

I don't know for sure, but I'm afraid that the first LP I ever bought may have been "Collage" by Noel Harrison, ca. 1967. Hopefully that's wrong, and the first one was "Meet the Beatles" or something.
Avatar 8:48pm Bethany Ryker:

Hi Folks! Glad you are hanging out with me and my pops tonight :)

Bethany, your nickname should now be “Rental Horn.” Respect!
  8:56pm Listener Gregory:

OMG, I've been writing Stephanie instead of Bethany! God, strike me dead now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:59pm Dominick:

At least you've been pronouncing Teo correctly
  9:00pm Listener Gregory:

@Dominick, thanks, but my life is over now.
