I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

JtotheK:

hi Bryce, hi everyone. i also am not familiar with Ragnar Grippe, in fact i figured it was some sort of physical technique (ie: everything was going great, until i attemped the 'ragnar grip'). Sand is great, will have to check out other stuff!

swedish fellow. in the 70s, he went to paris and crossed paths with pierre schaeffer, then worked with luc ferrari. his first couple records, especially, are lovely and intuitively trippy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm
Greg from ZONE 5:

Just put my headphones back on, thought I was hearing the ticking sounds in "Time Has Come Today" and thought "Huh…weird choice for Bryce…"
Avatar 12:50pm
Jeff:

Me 15 minutes ago: ”Hey, listen! Bryce is playing a piece which sounds like a million car horns honking in shifting but interlocking rhythms!"

[turn radio up... Huh, guess not.]

[Open car window... Oh.]
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm
Greg from ZONE 5:

btw thought of you the other night when I was jogging through Liberty State Park. I passed the marina zone where they keep all the boats and it was pretty windy and all the masts were clacking around and making these amazing sounds. Sounded like 70 or 80 xylophones. I'll record it on my phone next time.
Avatar 12:55pm

Evidently Ragnar has been active on Apple Music and there's a lot of music that looks like it's been reissued to iTunes.

Playing Bryce's current show at the same time as an archived other show. Works well.
Avatar 1:12pm
Fox (Rā-chul):

The sound of San Francisco trolley busses coming near and twanging the electric lines is the exact same sound as when you throw empty bottles you'd unearthed from the lake's bottom across the frozen surface into the darkness of night and hearing the vibrations ping the ice and the echo bounce from the surrounding hillsides.

Avatar 1:35pm

It was in the same week, ages ago, discovering F.Bayle and Trevor Wishart (red bird) -- brain promptly a'splode.

Some of that was surely the fault of this very show.

Avatar 1:47pm
Bryce:

or, rather, "Tremblement De Terre Très Doux / Toupie Dans Le Ciel"

confusing, because it's different from the LP "Erosphère," though there's overlap of one piece. all of it out of print.

i do wish someone would release the material of both together, as a definitive edition of the entire cycle. it's so lovely.
