Avatar 3:46pm wearpants:

I have lived in the country. This song speaks the truth.
  3:48pm Martha:

Yep - nothing like living in the country to get you used to getting drunk by yourself...been there, done that - unfortunately -
Avatar 3:52pm Chris from DC:

Avatar 3:57pm Cecile:

Did they play a lot of acid rock outside of the big names on underground radio in the 60s/70s?
Avatar 3:58pm Cecile:

I remember the public radio station in my town sneering at it in favor of jazz, folk and classical. And when I got to WCBN in the early/mid 80s, it was pretty outré to play hard rock.
Avatar 3:59pm Sue P.:

Martha, are you insinuating the getting drunk alone is a bad thing?
Avatar 4:03pm Sem Chumbo:

This is a raucous one.

Hiya, Martha, and Martha Show- goers.
  4:04pm Martha:

I think so...isn't it? - maybe I just wasn't brought up right...
Avatar 4:09pm Cheri Pi:

  4:09pm Martha:

Hi All - thanks for the good words - and I have no idea about the playing/distribution of acid rock - bands used ot tour a lot more then too -
