Swag For Life Member 2:02pm Steve Krinsky:

Not Matt. Hey, are we getting this? Twang guitar; someone please confirm.
Avatar 2:02pm Parq:

Welcome Steve! Looking forward to this.
Avatar 2:06pm still b/p:

Something about those openers would make them at home in a Tarantino soundtrack.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm Carmichael:

Ahh, found your page at last. The FMU home page is no help whatsoever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm fred:

Good afternoon Steve, Parq, and others.
Steve, The sound seems to match the playlist
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:07pm melinda:

hi Steve & all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm fred:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15pm doctorjazz:

Made it! (slide guitar Chuck Berry? Cool!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15pm doctorjazz:

Avatar 2:16pm Sem Chumbo:

Listening to Gabby, was Chuck? Who knows.
Hiya, Steve, and all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm fred:

Wow! The old WFMU page! I kinda miss how convenient it was (at least on an old desktop)
Avatar 2:19pm Parq:

Goodness, Kenzo, I had no idea.
Swag For Life Member 2:23pm Steve Krinsky:

Alright. We got the groove going.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm Dominick:

You're talking about Don Raye
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38pm doctorjazz:

so, the old page still works? Have to go for the address with freeform.wfmu.org. I also like it. Less news (but links are there).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm fred:

@doctorjazz: Yeah, the Kenzo style: might not look as good, but doesn't get in the way and just plain works
  2:49pm mark R:

Love Commander Cody! Actually your whole playlist is great, but I just tuned in in time for the Elephants.
Avatar 2:58pm still b/p:

Was there a New England period before Texas and Jersey, Steve?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:06pm doctorjazz:

Hey, @Fred. Curious about your show exploits. Gotten to any past few days? (saw a great one Sunday, The Microscopic Septet. They have a new great album out as well.
Swag For Life Member 3:06pm Steve Krinsky:

I grew up in Revere, MA. Still wear a Red Sox hat and consider myself a Bostonian. Didja catch my accent?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm melinda:

Nice to see the old homepage. I like seeing the regular and GTDR streams 'now playing' simultaneously.
Avatar 3:09pm still b/p:

I did catch it, was even going to guess eastern MA. I had one. Lost it pretty completely and now it drops in and out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm fred:

@doctorjazz: I saw Horse Lords on Saturday, very nice show. I got to chat briefly with one of them, mainly to point him to the right contact at Instants Chavirés for a possible future tour. I also saw a bunch of local acts two days ago, a free showcase that tends to go all over the place, which I like. And yesterday I saw Les Filles de Illighadad, predictably great, with a very cool opening set by Guilhem Lacroux (but many people didn't care and were talking loudly, I have to catch him again)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm doctorjazz:

Cool, @Fred. I get exhausted just reading about your concert outing schedule.
Mostly get out to hear jazz, next up: Dave Douglas in Philadelphia in a week and a half. Some good shows in Manhattan, Greg Cohen doing a few day run at The Stone, Masada String Trio tonight (but I'm working late, won't work. He's leading interesting bands until Sunday night, maybe shlep in (my Brooklyn accent coming out).
  3:20pm frenchee:

Steve K! Love the show. Tracy Nelson's voice is whiskeyed honey or maybe honeyed whiskey.
  3:21pm frenchee:

Accents: I hear Boston but you've got the Jersey "str"
which is SCHTR
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm fred:

@doctorjazz: You do keep quite busy yourself! Saturday I'll see an Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker dance show on A Love Supreme. I already saw it, but with different dancers. I'm curious to see how that changes the piece. That means I'll miss most of Mayuko's show, thank Kenzo for the archives
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm doctorjazz:

Great show, loving it!
Avatar 3:32pm Parq:

Moe than likely, most of you know this already, but we've lost Don Rickles at age 90. You hockey pucks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Great to hearya Steve, you big dummy(tribute to Don)!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm doctorjazz:

Swag For Life Member 3:59pm Steve Krinsky:

I'll take a lager or a pilsner, por favor.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02pm fred:
