Hullooo, Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm doctorjazz:

Been hearing this album a bit on FMU, like it (still think it sounds a bit like the Dead)
Hi Scott!
  3:04pm Pas Musique:

If a girl named Molly took a handful of Mollies would she be more of a Molly?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:04pm Scott Williams:

howDEE JP & doctorjazz! yeah, it sounds a bit Deady, but in the good way
Avatar 3:05pm northguineahills:

I was thinking more of a meta-Molly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:06pm chris:

would certainly go well with skunk and molly... hi, Scott, all.
  3:06pm Pas Musique:

"Meta-Molly" the new Alejandro Jordorowsky graphic novel. The tales of an irish girls quest to understand existence.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm doctorjazz:

Definitely in a good way!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm doctorjazz:

Is it still in print? It is $140 on Amazon and out of stock.
Avatar 3:13pm northguineahills:

yep, that sounds like Jodorowsky. I actually have his collected graphic novels from the 60s-70s I found in a bookstore in Mexico City.
Avatar 3:13pm northguineahills:

This does have a Dead vibe to it, like after John Oswald got a hold of the tapes....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Scott Williams:

hello everyone, welcome to a sunny mundee!
  3:17pm bloopy:

Good day! Scott and friends
Avatar 3:17pm fred:

A few years ago, three coworkers had Jodorowsky as their landlord
Avatar 3:19pm northguineahills:

  3:26pm JakeGould:

So how was Jodorowsky’s plumbing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm Scott Williams:

Hola Tomasz! You sensed good, pal...
Avatar 3:27pm fred:

Sorry, I don't know more. I basically don't hang out with coworkers, so I never went to their parties. I heard he'd drop by once in a while
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm doctorjazz:

Speak to his urologist.
  3:28pm andrewb:

does julian cope sound like dave vanian or the other way round?
  3:32pm Pas Musique:

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!! Barking Sabbath!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Parq:

Doggonnit! (And other silly dog puns.)
  3:34pm Pas Musique:

O man...I am in tears my office mates must think I am high.
  3:34pm JakeGould:

At least these dogs respect Bill Ward.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm tomasz.:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm Parq:

  3:36pm andrewb:

  4:25pm JakeGould:

I used to catch tadpoles in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in the 1970s when somehow they decided allowing wild frogs to lay eggs in a park and tiny stream near Flatbush Avenue was a good idea.
Avatar 4:40pm geezerette:

Scott, your show is so classy.
Getting ready for short trip to desert to walk through wildflowers.
I'll tell them you said high.

Happy SPRING y'all!
  4:48pm JakeGould:

Lula, Lila! Lila, Lula! Jerry!
4:49pm more info than you require:

Pretty sure its "shoe shoe". Like I think that is official. They are named after the arguably saddest movie in the world Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl.

OH hey Badalamenti? Did you know Xiu Xiu did an excellent cover of Twin Peaks music last year?
Avatar 4:49pm fred:

Mysteries of Love! Nice choice
Avatar 4:50pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

...what fred said.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm el_musgo:

Avatar 5:05pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Holy crap, haven't heard this Art Barbeque stuff since it was new -- This was a Lemos/Papa project, no?
Avatar 5:08pm fred:

Esplendor Geometrico were such a letdown two years ago at Sonic Protest. Made me even more wary of old projects making an appearance. But this year Phew turned out to perform my fave set of the festival. Rules are wrong
  5:11pm MayorFrank:

Hello. This is strange.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm Scott Williams:

Rev. - Paul Lemos & Andrea Umstead assisting
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm Michael 98145:

Avatar 5:41pm fred:

Any relation to the Viki I saw about ten years ago at Sonic Protest? I loved her set but didn't get to see her since. It somehow sounded like it could be related
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Scott Williams:

could be, fred: www.midwich.net...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm adrian in mpls:

I didn't know Viki still made music - that's great
Avatar 5:51pm fred:

According to Discogs, that's her indeed. Thanks for that. Not that she's likely to play around here again, but I'm happy she's still putting out great music
