I'm driving Frank. You should not be so proud of yourself. Next week honey.
Avatar 11:07am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

It's such a cliche that Rock'n'Roll was born from a sharp sudden combination of Rhythm&Blues & Country&Western - but listening to Chuck Berry - I'm struck by how true it is in his case - crossing over to 'white' kids & charts - & creating something vitally new & utterly enduring...
Avatar 11:08am SmokinJ:

  11:08am Jay:

I think Rick Springfield only joined the Zoot on later records -- I don't think he is on that one.

Baby, I'm never proud of myself. Careful driving.
Avatar 11:10am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- yes duh - but it's still interesting to me how much Hillbilly there is in Chuck & his innovation...
  11:11am Baby:

You should be. And thanks.

Talk about a song so wrong...
  11:22am Joe R.:

That Manchesters' cover actually sounds like it was recorded in less than one take, if that's even physically possible
  11:22am McGreivey:

wait. The Bevis Frond are playing Monday night at Warsaw? But Warsaw says it's Teenage Fanclub and Holy Tunics. Are the Bevis Frond also on the bill?
