Hey woofmu listeners - Olivia - great set, chill tracks - these recordings of your ma talking have me moved. It's like therapy. I thought it was a song. They aren't posted online anywhere are they? Thank you for being awake and pumping out all you do the WFMU.

Excellent show, excellent execution. Thank you for this. Only on freeform.
  4:47am Eric Hat:

Holy crap! I always sing this DoBee song at this speed...flashbacks to playing the 45 at 33 as a kid. Hilarious!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50am olivia:

Eric Hat: haha - I found this record recently, it's a 78 rpm 7". . . so i've been playing it at the 45 speed
  4:50am Eric Hat:

Awesome! Thanks

Woke up too early for work, woke up too LATE to hear most of Olivia's show. A weekly modern tragedy. Thank god for archives.

You never when you will die. Two and a half years ago, my wife died of cancer. It was fast: she was diagnosed, and five weeks later she was dead, at 51. Though many people were there in the last week, it was weird that, like your mother, I was alone with her when she passed. Velma. Peace. sigh
