  12:04am Mark R:

Oh, yeah! Greetings from the Left Coast, Jeff.
Avatar 12:04am AdamFromOldeKenzo:

I've been getting into Santana lately, through the stuff he did with Alice Coltrane, and then I checked this album too...rules.
  12:05am Pacific standard simon:

Loves McLaughlin. Everyone's supposed to hate Fusion & Musos - but can't help it.
Avatar 12:10am Jeff Conklin:

This isn't fusion, it's spiritual rock ;)
Avatar 12:11am Hagbard Celine:

Hello all. @Adam Which stuff did he do with Alice Coltrane? Been loving her stuff lately.
  12:13am L J:

Stoked to be getting unstuck in real time tonight rather than via the often temperamental archives
Avatar 12:14am Jeff Conklin:

You been having issues, LJ?
Avatar 12:16am AdamFromOldeKenzo:

@Hagbard Illuminations was the album they did together, and she arranged the first song on the Santana "Welcome" album
  12:17am Mario:

Good morning Jeff!
  12:19am L J:

tends to want to start the show over, seems like? sometimes in the middle of a song. could be me though, or my phone.
Avatar 12:21am Jeff Conklin:

LJ: You using the app on your phone? The archives on the website won't work on a iphone/ipad you need the app.
  12:22am Mark R:

I believe there's a new app--that might help.
Avatar 12:23am Hagbard Celine:

Wow love this Mahjun track. Reminds me of some of the more out there Don Cherry pieces.
  12:26am L J:

yes using the app and yes! there's the update, thanks. back to the music~
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32am Aitch:

We are currently getting the nastiest storm here on the east coast Canada - and this music is the perfect soundtrack. Thanks Jeff!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am Aitch:

Sounding very Happy Medium, you been hanging out with Lane?
  1:54am Juan:

Well this is lovely! Particularly nice after having to endure a very tense drive on the highway tonight. I'm home and "Broken Wing" is a thing of beauty.
  1:56am rw:

Hello! This Garrett Schroeder is reminding me a bit of Peter Hammill. Not in the voice per se but the content.
Avatar 1:57am Jeff Conklin:

@Juan: Glad you made it

@rw: I hear that!
  2:01am Mark R:

This Garrett Schroeder track is amazing--such a surprising jam there at the end--fantastic piano playing. Thanks for once again turning me on to a beautiful artist I wasn't aware of before hearing him on your show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03am brendanswfmuaccount:

I'll have to join in, that Garrett Schroeder track was brilliant.
  2:05am rak:

Garrett Schroeder is from the Houston, TX area, I believe
Avatar 2:08am Jeff Conklin:

@rak: Thanks! How do you know??
  2:16am rak:

Don't know for sure. Looked for the LP online after hearing the track. Multiple past sales claim Houston. Also, Houston is close to the Gulf of Mexico.
Avatar 2:17am Jeff Conklin:

@rak: Nice detective work! Thanks.
Avatar 2:25am AdamFromOldeKenzo:

this is a very nice song
  2:37am Pacific standard simon:

Done with work. Thanks, Jeff, you've been a good companion.
  2:39am Mark:

As always, a lovely, quietly passionate selection of music this evening. Listening to WFMU on late Sunday nights/early Monday mornings is a perfect object lesson on the power of radio. Thank you.
Avatar 2:39am Jeff Conklin:

My pleasure, simon
Avatar 2:40am Jeff Conklin:

  2:45am MattW:
