Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

Sweet Combustion is cool, nice mix of electronics and "real" instruments.

I had the pleasure of playing w/ Capelli back in '05. He's full of great ideas....
Avatar Wed. 1/25/17 2:24pm weinstein:

Yeah, he's pretty special and this configuration is locked in. Too bad there aren't more recordings. I'm not seeing much evidence they ever even did another gig!

Jerome Cooper I know as a drummer, any information on players here?
Avatar Wed. 1/25/17 3:07pm weinstein:

It's all him, pre-programmed keyboard sequencing triggered and chirimia (oboe-ish thing) him too.

Neglected to note that Jim Staley plays trombone on one part of the Lucas.
