Avatar 5:15pm listener mark:

@phillip ~go to youtube and watch a Junky's Christmas. A spoken word piece by William S. Burroughs. It brings a tear to my eye every time.
  5:19pm phillip in the bronx:

christmas depresses me to the point of jumping into a wood chipper
  5:21pm Ike:

Avatar 5:46pm JakeGould:

Hello! Came in just in time for “Video Nasties” which I am enjoying.
  5:51pm P-90:

"Video Nasties" was indeed a treat
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...doing laundry slightly earlier...those sets were no good - right??...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Faye:

thanks R.P....
Avatar 5:59pm JakeGould:

@phillip (Mr. Anti Christmas): My feelings about how awkward the holidays can be for some can be summed up in this picture: A Santa unceremoniously shoved into the window display of a Middle Eastern shop in front of a picture of Mecca. www.instagram.com...
Avatar 6:07pm JakeGould:

Ahhh! I knew that was Heavenly-ish sounding.
  6:12pm P-90:

It'll be nice to hear from Dave in his Echo World, it's been too long
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Yeah - loves Dave Mandl.
  6:13pm Ahmad:

Oooooh just caught Swim Team a few weeks ago without knowing anything about them. They were playing on a bill with a bunch of friends. Great live band!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm Faye:

thanks Pete! It's just some anime BGM
Avatar 6:44pm JakeGould:

I almost want to guess the BGM, but pretty sure I will not get it right anyway.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& ya tell me - Gabor, Gabor - & the other Gabor, again
...ya tell me - we're not on the Ava Destruction...
  6:46pm Ahmad:

I love the doomy Matmos cover of this. Think it's like 8 minutes long.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm Faye:

oh man i gotta hear that
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...but I say - Zsa - Zsa we are...She represented incomprehensible East European Glamour...now we're stuck w/ plastic Melanias...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm melinda:

Mornin' Train was lovely.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm fleep:

Piano time is like mountain air
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm хтinа:

Avatar 7:01pm northguineahills:

Haven't heard this Ryuchi Sakamoto..., nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm Faye:

oh thanks for tuning in xtina!! xo
Avatar 7:02pm listener mark:

The piano is encouraging. I will face this next week accomplishing feats of strength!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:03pm хтinа:

don't tell anyone but...i am frequently tuned in ;o;
Avatar 7:03pm JakeGould:

I really like the piano choices of late on this show, Faye.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I been thinking: Who's seen 'Mr. Lawrence'? I never heard anyone speak of it...Still thinking about Mr. Jones all the damned time...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05pm хтinа:

wait, was that a face or 'xo'...oh, miscommunication when it really matters! heh
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06pm Faye:

xo as in xoxo!!
Avatar 7:07pm JakeGould:

As a face “xo” is like getting conked in the head with a brick, right? But as text, it’s fine.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Xo was the 3rd Gabor...who, when she hugged & kissed you - it was like getting a brick in the head...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm хтinа:

:3 ooh i can see the connective threads now, thank u RR!
  7:10pm Mike tp:

Hello Faye. I remember a band called the HELLO PEOPLE.? JUST TUNED IN. Have a great night everyone
Avatar 7:10pm JakeGould:

Anyone here ever actually faint or black out? Not a fun thing.
  7:11pm P-90:

@RevRab: "Mr. Lawrence" definitely worth a look, not bad at all, not a classic either. Mr. Jones' performance fine, in a role not exactly a huge stretch for him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:12pm melinda:

I almost fainted, it was kind of scary. I collapsed and couldn't use my hands properly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:12pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

@JakeG: A couple times. Like a computer hard reboot - but it's You. How did I get - here?? What even happened?!?
Avatar 7:13pm glenn:

magda was the third gabor. xo was the fourth.
  7:13pm Mike tp:

OBE once Jake. Exhilarating but scared then hell outta me
  7:15pm P-90:

"Hello People" were an interesting band; a group of quite capable musicians who were also trained mimes and performed in mime makeup. They backed Rundgren on some of his early tours. Unjustly forgotten.
Avatar 7:15pm geezerette:

I fainted once, woke up and actually said,"Where am I".
That was embarrassing!
  7:16pm gary Showbiz:

hello from Dublin WFMU!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

@P-90: I guess I coulda deduced: I never heard about it - so no one thot to say it was either great nor terrible.
@Mike tp: OBE ! Now that's something...reports of people looking down on themselves from above - simply too common & credible - but utterly remarkable you think of it...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm Faye:

GREETING GARY!
  7:24pm Ahmad:

I've always wondered if radio station boards that automatically adjust themselves in order to avoid clipping exist. Like with the transition before this last one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:25pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I think every Station has its' own unique Compression EQ signature, maybe even...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm Scraps:

h'lo grump hi
  7:28pm Ahmad:

Ahh that'd make it impossible if that is the case.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Radio Free Americana's stream is always louder than anybody else's, for example...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm Scraps:

absolutely love "i must not think bad thoughts". the facts we hate
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm Gaylord Fields:

@Faye: There's pizza waiting for you post-show!
Avatar 7:44pm listener mark:

Thank you Faye for a freeform evening! Yay pizza! I had egg noodles with carrots, onions, and mushrooms! Yummy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Gaylord - Ha, way to trick Faye into ending her show 15 minutes early and gaining extra time for yours.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm Faye:

@Gaylord THANK CHRIST IM DYIN
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:50pm Gaylord Fields:

@Ken From Hyde Park: She can have all of my show. She's that good.
Avatar 7:56pm Paul D:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:58pm Faye:

Avatar 7:59pm JakeGould:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38pm robin:
