we always guaged winter's progression by how soon we could skate on Pat's Pond in upstate new york. typically, it was mid january, last 2 decades or so there has been NO skating all winter.

Oh, I forgot - Tarifa also gives me chills every time I hear it, as do several other songs like I Don't Want To Let You Down.

And you don't know what's up with her? She is back in college earning a psychologist or psychiatric degree or something. She had a hilarious comment about it at her NPR performance earlier this year at the DC 9:30 Club...something about needing to be certified to understand her fans lol :) :)
