El Combo Chimbita infuses Colombian cumbia, champeta, porro and more with psychedelia, electronica, funk, soul and lots of raw energy. The ascendant aggregation celebrates the release of new EP El Corredor del Jaguar (on the Names You Can Trust label) with its Garden State debut on this week's Transpacific Sound Paradise, before heading home to Brooklyn to play Barbes in Park Slope on Monday night.
