Just to put a fine point on it: wouldn't have a clue about virtually any of this - much less collate it, sequence it & present it. Really really appreciate it Faye & FMU.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm Faye:

well thanks rabbit. a playlist is an emotional narrative
  5:41pm P-90:

"WFayeMU" Go girl!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:44pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I was trying to not get too emotional about it!...

  5:47pm DJ_Guy:

This set is helping my hangover a lot thank you Faye
  5:47pm StuBot:

great Sunday show!!! love it. good work. It gave me an idea for the morning spot...the best DJs of WFMU rotating as chosen by listeners, pay everyone, bring your A game
  5:48pm StuBot:

why pay ONE DJ when all are so awesome and should be rewarded daily? make it a worthwhile freelance gig.
  5:51pm Old Dave:

As a former college DJ I object. Sorry StuBot, but we cannot and SHOULD NOT monetize every single thing in this world.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm common:

same here, dj guy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm Faye:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm soup and fog:

this ditty is doing me a world of good
Avatar 5:57pm other david:

Nearly 11pm here and back in work tomorrow after a week off. The tunes are removing the sense of impending doom :)
Avatar 5:59pm eeix:

I heard wine helps BOTH the hangover AND the sense of impending doom. :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...we should make the Morning Show like Survivor - all vote on which DJ @ any time gets the slot & the filthy lucre - & humiliate the booted presenters mercilessly on fb & twitter &tc. ...
Avatar 6:00pm other david:

Alas I tried that before, it works great until the morning after.. unless perhaps you never stop drinking, perhaps that's where I went wrong.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...The FreeForm Games...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Faye:

other David you are welcome on this playlist
Avatar 6:12pm geezerette:

Faye, I love your sense of humor. Love the way a DJs playlist can express anything & everything the DJ is feeling and or thinking. Knocks me out!...not literally, but, y'know. :D
Avatar 6:13pm Lopez:

Great set so far! I'm at work listening and it's carrying me nicely into the evening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm Faye:

hahahah I'm so glad geezerette! Glad yr enjoying Lopez!
Avatar 6:21pm listener mark:

When the new time slots open, I was hoping for more team DJs. Like Michele and Frangry or Glen Jones and X Ray Burns. Clay Pigeon and Fabio would be great together. Morning shows need a little banter. But no Zany DJs. Definitely no Zany morning teams.
  6:22pm DL in LA:

This Donna Summer is magical.
Avatar 6:22pm Lopez:

this song is blowing my mind. They're all cheering for me
Avatar 6:23pm dale:

i was gonna chime in approval for this donna summer. not that you need my approval.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:27pm Faye:

that live rendition is really transcendental

  6:45pm James:

Loving this one
  6:45pm Ahmad:

I saw Quintron and Miss Pussycat open for The Black Lips many years ago. Black Lips were forgettable but Quintron and Miss Pussycat were one of the most psychedelic and amazing things ever.
Avatar 6:48pm listener mark:

Love the station, love this show and a lot of other shows glad to help, it cuts into my beer & whisky money but that's alright, it will be tough after JM in the AM leaves, here's hoping the new morning shows can pick up the slack
  6:53pm Tim Haley:

I love this show. blessings Eric and Faye.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Hello, Faye and astral plaintiffs.
  6:57pm StuBot:

fu@king in love with you right now
Avatar 6:59pm geezerette:

Talking Heads/Devo vibe.
Avatar 6:59pm other david:

Tuuuuune. Yep WFMU is unique, glad to be able to fuel it and great shows like this. Actually walking to and from work in Dublin, I've noticed a few "woof" and "moo" stickers and they're not my doing, might be Billy Jam's fault :)
  7:00pm $tuBot:

if you've been paying attention to other DJs you'll hear that they're actually talking about paying somebody in a morning spot to try and drive Pinterest ocean during the morning hours so my opinion about making it more than one DJ rather than one DJ is relevant
  7:00pm P-90:

Hi @Ken FHP. Thanks for new idea: dating app for "astral plaintiffs." Maybe not, could get weird real fast...
  7:03pm famous original nastywolf:

  7:06pm P-90:

Hellllooo Ms. famous original!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@P-90 - OK, good. You take the dating app. I'll register the legal advice app.
  7:09pm Old Dave:

Hey other david- our parish priest is apparently AWOL over there. The Irish in him bein expressed at several Dublin pubs at our expense this very day.
If you see a big 85 YO with collar, please just yell DON and kick his arse.
Avatar 7:14pm other david:

Hah! Will do.

WFMU, tracking down AWOL priests since 2016.
  7:20pm Old Dave:

I'm Irish on mum's side, so understand the draw. Lucky you living there!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@nastywolf (née icewolf) - Not sure if you caught my answer to your question Thursday morning. No problems in the souvenir tent. All went smoothly.
  7:21pm Mart:

  7:25pm Amazing Criswell Predicts:

I predict:
that in the not-so-distant future, there will be legal practices that specialize in cases of "astral stalking"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm Craig in MoTown:

@Ahmad- just bought tix for Quintron & Ms P. at Monty Hall after reading your post. Can't wait, thanks.
  7:29pm Old Dave:

Please do NOT encourage the millions of lawyers infesting our land, Criswell.
And please don't sue me for saying the thing I never said here.
Avatar 7:30pm Lopez:

nice guitar work holy moly
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...stop staring @ my astral...
Avatar 7:34pm listener mark:

space & time are interchangeable, we'll see each other on the astral plane Thank You Faye!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Listening to Faye's description of the upcoming events is like opening Christmas presents.
  7:45pm MONEYBAG$:

That John Doe book is so good
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm Faye:

it is good!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47pm Faye:

omg Ken that's the best compliment I've ever received, I always feel like people turn off their radio when i start listing events
Avatar 7:48pm geezerette:

we don't though. :)
  7:50pm DJ_Guy:

So this is the new zomby? I guess dubstep is truly over. I'm p fine with that
  7:51pm P-90:

@DJ Faye: I have commented a few times that your performances of "Upcoming Special Events" are a highlight-- the running gag is that it's obvious that you're nervous that thy will be unappreciated by listeners... they aren't though.
  7:52pm Ahmad:

Dubstep was hijacked and ruined for everyone by Skrillex and his ilk. So yeah, it's pretty much over.
Avatar 7:53pm Lopez:

Great show right on up to, and including, this unreal keyboard action on Benjamin Ball. Is that a faux talking drum too? Tremendous
  7:53pm DJ_Guy:

@ahmad yeah skrillex really did a number on that genre
  7:55pm Jinxy:

Make dubstep great again!
  7:59pm P-90:

have a groovy Halloween week
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Faye. Keep the upcoming events alive!
