Props on dragging out the Killdozer!
Avatar 9:12am Polyus:

Trump has done a bit for Janet Jackson's bank account this week, I suspect.
Avatar 9:14am Chris from DC:

And gotten Killdozer some play. Awesome.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15am Ken From Hyde Park:

Yes on Killdozer!
  9:17am Onion:

You're comin' in hot today Marty!
Avatar 9:19am PKNY:

Don't mind this Dre track, but Missing Linx used the McCallum better --> www.youtube.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21am Ike:

Wait, wait, did Snoop just rap about a girl slipping into his back door? Kinky.
Avatar 9:21am Sem Chumbo:

OK! Dolly does it.
Avatar 9:23am alanr:

reminds me of something I came across recently: youtu.be...
(slowed down to create a wonderful new version)
Avatar 9:23am PKNY:

Jose is that dude.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24am pantz:

Morning Marty. Somebody done you wrong? Hey, you're 22% with a bullet.
Avatar 9:26am Sem Chumbo:

@alan: nice, thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:32am Ken From Hyde Park:

@pantz - Heh...I see what you did there.
Avatar 9:51am Polyus:

This dude's ring will hypnotize you so bad you won't even see the punch coming.
  9:52am Blix:

Quite interesting how similar Kassie's delivery in that one sounds to The Waitresses' Patty Donahue. I am more at a lost about finding an analogous delivery for Franek's.
Avatar 9:53am Sem Chumbo:

Had to know: en.wikipedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59am adampsyche:

Loving the Franek Kimono jams, more please :)
  10:02am yeah:

Franek Kimono was supposed to be a mockery of disco subculture. As it happens it didn't worked as planned and he was treated seriously and enthusiastically received by the disco-goers.
  10:08am JakeGould:

Nice cover right here.
Avatar 10:14am Chris from DC:

I remember very well seeing Thin Lizzy do this live.
Avatar 10:15am PKNY:

Brian Downey might be the most slept-on drummer in rock. Always kills it, but especially obvious on "Johnny the Fox".
Avatar 10:16am Polyus:

Hell yes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24am common:

happy friday
Avatar 10:33am Marty McSorley:

morning everyone! thx to all that have pledged all ready but we been stuck at 22% all morning and I think we can bump that up a bit
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36am Guido from Cologne:

Hello Marty and people!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42am pantz:

Groovy show, Marty. C'mon people. Give money so we can hear Marty do this every week.
  10:43am nalyd:

loving this playlist. i've been improvising along to this last set on my guitar and am being taken to a different place. thank you.
  10:48am anon:

tuning my radio to wfmu again only to hear what sounds to be noise between stations but it's only the dj killing wfmu
  10:51am anon:

RIP WFMU. Crap content during key schedules, no more Jewish $$, if this is the best you can do you're killing the station
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am JP from KC:

Be gone, troll.
  10:54am JakeGould:

WFMU: Content So Bad You Can't Help But to Listen
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:54am pantz:

@anon No one cares what you think, bub.
Avatar 10:55am Cheri Pi:

I love every moment of this programming.
  10:56am anon:

I tuned back, this is better. Seriously tho, fun can't afford djs playing broken car sounds at noon. I take it back, this show is better than my first impression, sorry dj
Avatar 10:57am Cheri Pi:

WFMU broadcasts globally through the internet, what may be a key time for some is dinner time for someone across the ocean.
  10:58am JakeGould:

Yo Pola Manola, why you be so slowa?
  11:00am anon:

there's no good time slot for broken car noises.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02am pantz:

Maybe your car is broken @anon. Did you think of that? Those could be the noises you hear.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03am JP from KC:

Plus, WFMU is a FREEFORM station. If they started changing their programming for the purpose of appeasing or attracting listeners, they'd be taking steps toward becoming like any other radio station out there. Being a listener is like digging through the dollar bin at your local record store- you sift through what you don't like to find what you do. the appeal is hearing things you won't hear anywhere else. if you find that you're not enjoying the current programming, there are literally YEARS of archives and any number of other shows and DJ's that may play stuff closer to your personal taste. That in itself is reason enough to pledge.
  11:03am anon:

Formal apology to DJ. it's just a thing of mine, many daytime slots get bizarre in a bad way and I love FMU don't want to see it go
  11:03am anon.:

Brand new.
  11:04am anon:

This DJ is good, some just make me wonder if they just want it to die.
Avatar 11:05am Chris from DC:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05am Barney Grubbs:

I kept wanting to play STOP FUCKING BUNTING last night, but it would have awakened the rest of the household
Avatar 11:06am Chris from DC:

Works better than "Flipper of Bats".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06am adampsyche:

Topped up my buck per day pledge with some more loot for my favorite show. Keep it rolling, Marty
Avatar 11:09am Polyus:

Just saw Black Cobra with Yob in London. Predictably great show, the Brits ate it up.
Avatar 11:10am Chris from DC:

Avatar 11:12am Marty McSorley:

@barney haha yeah we show bunt like 900 times and the only guy to lay one is a-gon. frustrating. not too worried though. we all remember what happened last time the cubs was up 3-2 in the nlcs
  11:20am nalyd:

this heavy set has been absolutely killer. thank you for introducing me to oozing wound
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am Barney Grubbs:

I just couldn't figure out who Joc was fooling showing bunt in the 8 slot. If you can get Bartman back for the next two it'll all be cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:21am JP from KC:

That, and if you can get your runners to stop taking third base catnaps.
Avatar 11:22am Marty McSorley:

im trying but my go fund me to get bartman to the game is getting no love ha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22am Planet Tyler:

This Liars record is 15 yrs old already?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am JP from KC:

That is literally the most trash talk I can muster. We Cubs fans are still nervous as shit.
Avatar 11:27am Marty McSorley:

yeah i would be too. kershaw and hill back to back. both shut um out in their last starts
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am JP from KC:

True, but despite that, those were both pretty low-scoring games. If I were a Dodger's fan, I'd be concerned about your offense.
Avatar 11:35am Marty McSorley:

i actually blame magic johnson for the loss last night. he took his mojo to wnba championship game last night and the Sparks won. he left the dodgers hanging.
  11:37am JakeGould:

Pusha pusha you must go.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:39am JP from KC:

Ha! Then you'll be in big trouble tomorrow night, when the ghost of Harry Caray makes his countenance to shine upon Wrigley field and the Cubs.
  11:44am Mike tp:

I think tobacco coming to Portland. Tobacco meet Herb
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44am Barney Grubbs:

If Harry Caray will take Joe Buck away with him, it would almost be worth it
Avatar 11:45am Marcel M:

  11:46am JakeGould:

Badfoot and Bunions.
Avatar 11:46am Marty McSorley:

dodgers gonna take the cubs in 7. then they gonna take the tribe to game 7 and vin gonna come back for game 7. and we will all win
Avatar 11:46am Marcel M:

Wait did he mention Ludes? ZING!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:47am JP from KC:

I'm inclined to agree with you, there, Barney. As a citizen of Kansas City, a local ordinance requires me to hold a grudge against Joe Buck for his baseless mistreatment of the Royals.
Avatar 11:47am Marty McSorley:

cosby dont need no bad drugs :/
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48am JP from KC:

That, and he's objectively a piss poor commentator.
Avatar 11:49am Marty McSorley:

thank for those that got us from 22% to 25%. any chance at another boost be for the show ends in 10 min?
Avatar 11:49am Polyus:

I almost feel guilty for digging this song so much.
  11:56am andrew:

theanswer song to prince buster's judge dread
