Dear Bethany,
We also love the virtuosic violin pieces.
You are swell.

Hello New York
Avatar 8:07pm Bethany Ryker:

@Rynac....I think you mean New Jersey!!
Avatar 8:08pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...well - that was a quite reasonable little performance...
  8:09pm JakeGould:

Maybe this region of NYC/NJ should be called the “Greater Port Authority Customer Base?”
  8:11pm Listening Out There:

A440 + Bethany = Great surprise :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:14pm dale:

glad to see SOMEONE bring some class to this station!
  8:14pm P-90:

Greetings, Professor Ryker.
A440/SHP was missed while it was away.

The kid downstairs is practicing the drums, as he does every day for about 18 hours. It goes better with Schoenberg than with Prokofiev.

JakeGould. GPACB to me translates as "ready to accept any transit insults that the corrupt ringmasters care to lay upon us". Ooops, did I just say that?
Avatar 8:28pm Bethany Ryker:

Anyone notice the playlist thread yet?
Avatar 8:28pm AdamFromOldeKenzo:

Glad to see the show back!
  8:29pm P-90:

All opus 46?
  8:30pm IFisher:

p-90 wins the prize
  8:31pm P-90:

Bit it would be a nicely programmed selection even if the pieces didn't happen to have that in common.
Avatar 8:48pm Jeff:

I didn't know the Peer Gynt Suite was an Opus 46.

It might've been 46 years ago when I first heard it, though.
Avatar 8:48pm JackScheff:

second Adam, it's nice to have this show on the air again!
Avatar 8:49pm Bethany Ryker:

There are two suites of music from Peer Gynt - the suite Op. 46 was published in 1888; the entire music was composed/premiered in 1876
Avatar 8:52pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Quite a tidy little tour thru Modernism this playlist.
How come there's no stream even close to this for 'Classical'?
  8:52pm Chuck:

So glad you're back Bethany!
Avatar 9:01pm Hams:
