Nice, jsedb.

@Northguineahills: That's awesome though to be honest I don't love playing stuff that gets a lot of spins on other shows but Forma are near and dear to me (I booked their first NY show)

  2:02am Nick:

Ramon Sender on Buchla & the Trips Festival from the book on the SF Tape Music Center: "By now, 1966 had developed and delivered his box...My dream was to run Big Brother through the Buchla box, very slowly, but gradually, turn up all the ring modulators until the whole thing would be way out in space. But that never happened for a number of reasons. We got Don [Buchla] involved in building the PA system and Stewart Brand and the Pranksters involved in nailing it to the ceiling of the Longshoremen's Auditorium."
Avatar 2:12am future transport:

some body loves you
Avatar 2:14am future transport:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15am joeray:

It's great that Buchla got to build his 200e series before his passing since he had been working towards a programmable modular system since the original 200 series.
Avatar 2:17am future transport:

Avatar 2:18am Jeff Conklin:

Yeah so cool about Buchla and the Trips Fest.

Someone loves all of us
Avatar 2:19am future transport:

It occurred to Don one day to build an instrument actually intended for electronic music performance. ... And a few years later (1970), the 200 series Electric Music Box. ... For his keyboard playing friends Don conjured up the Touché (1978).

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28am joeray:

@future transport: I'm amazed that they now offer the Music Easel with the original circuitry. Another amazing Buchla instrument! I won't call it a synth since Don Buchla hated them being called synthesizers since that could be construed as synthetic, as in imitative synthesis.
Avatar 2:29am future transport:

great wishing

Avatar 2:36am BEAVO:

Avatar 2:36am future transport:

bass very tasty fish fillet
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37am joeray:

@future transport: I believe the LP was called "Electronic Music by Women" on the Arch label, CD reissue on New World. Allen Strange is one of two Buchla Music Easel players on it.
Avatar 2:38am future transport:

Season the fillets with salt and pepper. ...
When the pan is hot add the olive oil and heat. ...
Place the fillets in the pan and pan fry about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown. ...
When the butter is melted, add the sliced garlic. ...
Add the herbs and remove from the heat.
