Banter, schmanter. I am here for the quality knitwear if you insist on heading t'wards Autumn.
Please note: My wife's Autumn Chutney is available in the foyer along with a few remaining jars of chili relish.
Avatar 5:54am Sem Chumbo:

...But the days grow short when you reach September
And the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
And I haven't got time for the waiting game...

so let's have at that autumnal chutney posthaste.
Avatar 8:51am Bill Mac:

Chutney and a nice, warm cardigan - perfect together.
It's 80 degrees F in here!!!!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am Gary:

Nice Sunday morning music so far!
Avatar 9:20am Brian in UK:

Mass in Three Parts by William Byrd now that is Sunday morning brouhaahaa music.
Avatar 9:22am Brian in UK:

Have you got a Yaskmak?
No, but I've got a dark brown overcoat. (Gorilla 1967)
Avatar 9:23am Sem Chumbo:

A thinly-veiled jape, BiUK.
Avatar 9:24am Bill Mac:

AS soon you started with "No but I've'', I knew where you were heading...
Avatar 9:29am Brian in UK:

Scatterbrains and japes. What larks, Pip.
Avatar 9:29am Sem Chumbo:

Ideal first half-hour soundtrack to watching the estuary accepting the incoming tide. Thanks, Bill.
Avatar 9:32am Brian in UK:

Trying to juggle this infernal noise with the British Motorcycle Grand Prix and International cricket. Then the heady aroma of hot vinegar from chutney making downstairs.
Avatar 9:33am Brian in UK:

Sem, is that the twenty eight feet tidal rise and fall?
Avatar 9:33am Sem Chumbo:

Gladys Nightingale larked with her Pips, I believe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:33am mauri:

sun after rain. good sunday all. chutney making. I just got soup.
Avatar 9:34am Bill Mac:

Bad weather at the bottom of this state. Not bad here though
Avatar 9:34am Sem Chumbo:

Yes, Brian More or less twice a day, 12 hours and a few minutes between high tides.
Avatar 9:39am Brian in UK:

Was it Bob Crewe Set. Just a vague memory
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:40am melinda:

Avatar 9:46am Brian in UK:

Hello mauri, soup is the order of the day here too.
Hey melinda. Can smell a new loaf ready to come out, sorry to tease!!
Avatar 9:47am Brian in UK:

Those JT fellows looked about 75 on this album, bit like the early Band covers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50am mauri:

hooray for the soup dragon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50am Doug Schulkind:

I'm surprised Herman isn't eating Cockroachios.
Avatar 9:52am Sem Chumbo:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10am melinda:

I liked that Bill Fay. Nice vibe here too.
Avatar 10:13am Bill Mac:

Me too, one of this weeks new discoveries...
Avatar 10:14am Brian in UK:

Any volunteers to help rid the coop of Red Mite, particulaly virulent this year due to hot weather. No, cannot blame you.
Avatar 10:17am Sem Chumbo:

Rockin' out w/ Bill Mac!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17am mauri:

get a monkey maybe it'll pick em.
Avatar 10:18am Bill Mac:

Sorry I decided to try and make a point there.
Avatar 10:19am Sem Chumbo:

I'll nip over and lend a hand, Brian, if you'll visit here and help with the infestation of black squirrels, an invasive species taking over the 'hood.
Avatar 10:20am Sem Chumbo:

...and maybe, @mauri, a monkey or two might work here, as well.
Avatar 10:22am Bill Mac:

I'd be happy to but I'm busy at the moment
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22am coelacanth:

diatomaceous earth?
Avatar 10:22am Brian in UK:

Sem, here it is the grey variety that has it over the reds.
This is the fourth week of powdering the coop, hopefully this is it now.
  10:24am Ike:

Hullo! Where's all the rainy chaos we were promised? Is it still coming? It's windy though.
Avatar 10:25am Brian in UK:

@coelacnath. You got it. Seems to do the job but you still have to keep revisiting. Ideally a plastic coop is best, they can hide with ease in wooden ones. Just a matter of cost.
Avatar 10:27am Sem Chumbo:

Is it DEE-cals or DECK-uls? Asking for a friend.
Avatar 10:27am Bill Mac:

Hey hey Ike... it's irate down south so I hear
Avatar 10:36am Brian in UK:

Think Dub Stanley must be away somewhere, no sitings recently.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41am melinda:

Currently suffering for the last six months with Medial Epicondylitis aka Golfers Elbow. Never played the 'game' and no intention of starting. Difficult to take these 'stars' seriously.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50am Gary:

MY GF is dragging me out into the neighborhood -- seems like the 2nd actually tolerable day outside of the season ... thanks for perking up our Sunday morning, Bill!
Avatar 10:51am Bill Mac:

Avatar 10:56am Brian in UK:

Avatar 10:58am Brian in UK:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

He said Hottentots.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03am coelacanth:

(and the munsters theme song, of course.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I think the Standells were on pretty early in their career? Advantage of being an L.A. band...They were on some other show jamming w/ Bing Crosby...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07am coelacanth:

standells did the theme song, but i fuzzily remember that episode and it was one of their other songs.

  11:28am Michael and Birgit:

Hello from cologne for a short step in,
going to see the "Cowboys on dope" formaly known as "Rausch" in a few minutes on a street market playing a set. Bill, stay on the Station and have a good time...
Avatar 11:29am Bill Mac:

@KP Yeah man I still see light coming through the blinds here
Avatar 11:30am Bill Mac:

@M&B Hey you guys, sounds like a cultural experience to me. Have a good time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30am Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, how's it going? A picture of Jethro Bodine and his corn flakes would probably work, too.
Avatar 11:32am Andy in Berlin:

@ Brian - yes, but I guess you didn't hear about the movie show in London just before Bloodrock. That's what I thought you were talking about. But other than that I'm basically finished.
Avatar 11:41am Sem Chumbo:

ha, liked that reference to Salt Peanuts at the end of the Basie.
Avatar 11:42am Sem Chumbo:

Oh, man. Bob and the boys swinging it. So good, following CB.
Avatar 11:44am Sem Chumbo:
