Nope, all sounds you're hearing are intentional (so far).

West Coast is no better. Every day over 100, muggy and gross.

Dave Mandl:

I was at an outdoor party last night and the sweat was literally dripping off me. It was hotter during the day.
Avatar 8:56pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...didn't I tell you kids to leave the thermostat alone...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56pm
Ike:

I was amazed that the 36th St. subway station in Sunset Park was not hot at 2 p.m. today. Some stations are horrible and others are fine. Some are bad on some hot days and not others. One of those NYC puzzles.
Avatar 8:57pm
Dave Mandl:

A lot of subway cars haven't been air-conditioned lately, which is torture.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:59pm
Ike:

I try to always be ready to back out of the train car and run over to the next one before the doors close.
  9:01pm
JakeGould:

@Ike: I think the deal with 36th Street is it’s right below the sidewalk so there is much better airflow.

This was the first version of the Queen of the Night Aria that I ever heard, my family had this album or a similar one when I was a kid. Imagine how good it sounded when I heard it sung well!

Let's just say she's an acquired taste.

I remember Meryl Streep's singing scene in Ironweed. That hurt my heart.

Mrs. Miller would give Florence Jenkens a run for her money as bad vocalists go!
Avatar 9:20pm
Dave Mandl:

I don't think Mrs. Miller was quite as bad!

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
