Howdy Becky!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm dale:

ready for some toe tappage on my hand.
  8:04pm P-90:

re: "One of those days...":
Congratulations? Condolences? Both? Neither?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:05pm dale:

...on my END - i don't have toes on my hand, although there might have been some inbreeding in my family.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Eep! I hate those kind of days. Luckily, the beautiful sun comes up each morning and we can all start afresh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm Becky:

Hi all. Nothing desperate to report. The universe just looks different from here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10pm dale:

stompin' tom is working the johnny!
  8:11pm JakeGould:

Universe? What?
  8:13pm P-90:

Did you just find out you're going to be a Mommy or something? Anyway, thanks again for including the record dates when available.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15pm Becky:

No mini Beckys on the horizon. Except for, you know, other people having children named Becky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:18pm dale:

not sure about context, but hope you're okay. time heals everything, i promise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm Becky:

@dale Don't worry. Everything's just fine.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm I k e:

Congratulations on NOT being up the junction! Ha ha.

(Rugrats are the worst.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm dale:

so flop top beer is bad, but jim ed brown's pop a top beer is okay?
  8:23pm Mike tp:

Checking in to the honk. Sounds good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm ikє:

So you didn't find your robot in bed with your milkman, or your dog in bed with the neighbor's cat? (And are there C&W songs about either of those?) Just kidding, I'll stop now.
  8:23pm jon:

hi becky. great show again. always happy to hear marty robbins played too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm Bronwyn Bishop:

The Stompin Tom Connors tune kicked ass!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm Becky:

@ike I'd pay to hear the robot one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm |kє:

On an entirely different note, "Watergate Love Affair" is the best song title I've seen on FMU playlists all month, and "you wiretapped my mind" (?) one of the best lyrics.
  8:25pm JakeGould:

Are there any honky tonk songs about finding a family of 4-5 raccoons near your recycling when you live in the city? Asking for a friend.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm Becky:

@Jake I don't know, but that happened to me when I lived in Austin. Only two though. They were the size of bears.
  8:27pm JakeGould:

@Becky: I had a mom, pop and 3 little raccoons a few nights back in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Makes no sense! Freaked the shit out of the neighborhood stray cats.
  8:27pm P-90:

@ike/Becky: yup, the robot /milkman song is a real winner. Possible Ray Stevens number.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:30pm Bronwyn Bishop:

I want to hug Bud's steel guitar until it stops crying, poor little thing
  8:31pm P-90:

And now I'm genuinely curious about just how many ballads have been written about Buford Pusser.
Avatar 8:34pm Mailman Tom:

A few days ago, I saw a coyote crossing the street in broad daylight here in Norwalk, CT. Spotted one for the first time and I was thrilled by the sight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:35pm Becky:

@Mailman Tom: Was he chasing a roadrunner?
  8:35pm JakeGould:

@MailmainTom: I was kind of happy to see the raccoons at night. But still… An odd sight to see in Brooklyn. Must be rough to be a street cat dealing with raccoons.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm Bronwyn Bishop:

I played this on my college radio station once! Mostly to please my dad who is a truck driver but not a son of a gun.
  8:39pm P-90:

Used to see coyotes often and even a Grey Wolf or two in the Hollywood Hills. And Central Park is full of huge raccoons, totally not shy around people, they'll check the garbage cans in broad daylight, expecting any bystanders to just mind their own business.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm dale:

we lost three cats in the last 6 months and they are buried in the backyard. couple of nights ago something dug them all up and absconded with all but a few bones. it was horrifying - i blame a raccoon. i have no idea what else it could be.
Avatar 8:40pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...yeah Amurica don't need no gas...
  8:40pm JakeGould:

What makes Bobby “Sofine.”
Avatar 8:41pm Mailman Tom:

Ha Ha Becky, that's a good one!
  8:43pm shanghi1:

hard times stir cool tunes
  8:44pm JakeGould:

That settles it: No more high fructose corn syrup for the middle east! No wait…
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm Bronwyn Bishop:

Loretta!!!
  8:46pm Tommy:

Wow, what a great Loretta track
  8:47pm P-90:

Yeah, great Loretta
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48pm dale:

CHARLIE! love the silver fox.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49pm Becky:

Charlie Rich, the official Patron Saint of the Honky Tonk Radio Girl program.
Avatar 8:49pm Todd-o-phonic:

Your appreciation of Charlie Rich has led me to appreciate him more.
  8:49pm P-90:

The One and Only.
Avatar 8:50pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...dig the changes in this tune...
Avatar 8:55pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

This program is a teeny bit incredible.
  9:00pm P-90:

Maybe even more than a teeny bit. Thanks, Becky, hang in there.
Avatar 9:01pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
