Avatar 9:41am Chris from DC:

Didn't know that was Kenny G.
Avatar 9:44am Cecile:

Yep, sure is. Sometimes I'll go back to his archives and listen to his "hour of pain" once in a while.
Avatar 9:45am Cecile:

what if Graham Nash sang Andy Kim songs? It might go a little something like this.
Avatar 9:46am Wild Neil:

According to an Ebay-er at work Quadrophonic anything (8 track tapes even, usually labeled Q4) are worth a LOT. Collectors take notice!
Avatar 9:46am Chris from DC:

Cecile, did you hear him read transcripts from 24 hours of traffic and weather on the eights? Proud to say I think I lasted 10 minutes.
Avatar 9:47am Cecile:

Yes, they have been collectable since after about five minutes after they were discontinued. That's an investment that will hold its value.
Avatar 9:47am Cecile:

Chris, no, but I made it through him playing dozens of versions of "Loose" from the Funhouse outtakes box.
Avatar 9:48am Cecile:

He also said he thought I was a man or trans on the air. Oh! That Kenny.
Avatar 9:48am Cecile:

Jemaine Clement from FoTC needs to cover this song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48am fred:

I work at a contemporary music institute, and playing Kenny G shows really weirded out coworkers (that included traffic and weather)
Avatar 9:49am Wild Neil:

This Kenny G sounds like trip...I will check out a podcast...any recommendations for a particular date or show?
Avatar 9:50am Cecile:

I loved and hated that guy and couldn't wait to tune in every week. He and Irwin used to do transitions between their shows that were legendary.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:31am JP from KC:

Good morning, pie-faced Garbage-Timers! So, if pie is a desert, and pizza is a pie, shouldn't desert pizza just be called "pie?" More importantly, if the above logic is true, does that mean it's acceptable for me to eat pizza for desert? This may have startling implications.

They make a Pi tape that lists diameters on the tape directly...so you wrap the tape around the tree and it tells you the diameter...so at 3.14 feet of actual tape it reads 12 inches and tells you that 3.14 foot circumference is actually a ONE FOOT diameter tree...hope that makes sense!
