Is Donald Trump stupid? Someone should constantly remind me with endless blog and social media posts or else Iā€™m going to vote for him come the fall.

Sounds great...Coincidentally, I was just thinking today about how much I liked Blurred & Obscured about two hours ago (while sitting in a cafe playing horrible music), so what a treat to tune in and hear you filling in! Maybe my ears have been spoiled by WFMU.
  Wed. 6/22/16 12:27am rw:

Hello!

Sounds great. I'm listening off my laptop so there's no loss (or gain) in quality. Perfection.
  Wed. 6/22/16 12:28am number 6:

Twice this week in two different cafes (other than the one I was in tonight) I heard that awful Fun song that keeps repeating "Carry on." I actually didn't know what it was, since I don't listen to much Top 40 music, until hearing it the 2nd time and Googling it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it out of my head. What's wrong with cafes these days?

  Wed. 6/22/16 12:33am number 6:

Yeah, End of the Game is a great record...but I had it at one time & sold it. I should try listening to it again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Wed. 6/22/16 12:34am coelacanth:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Wed. 6/22/16 12:43am coelacanth:

Thanks 6. i'll check it out - but i'm pretty sure i want the album anyway. (and one of the features of MY antique computer is that i cannot watch videos; or even gifs, if there's a few on one page...so i'll have to wait.)
  Wed. 6/22/16 12:43am Andrew:

nice set by the way
Avatar Swag For Life Member Wed. 6/22/16 12:46am coelacanth:

...i think it's possible that if you're up beyond when your body needs sleep you're running on "nervous energy".(in other words, more adrenaline) - and you may be unconsciously grinding your teeth a little as a result.
...that's my theory.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Wed. 6/22/16 12:47am coelacanth:

...or just "gritting" them, to a slight degree.
  Wed. 6/22/16 12:52am number 6:

Bedroom Cassette Masters - what a cool idea for a series (dig the Pytchblend track)
  Wed. 6/22/16 1:27am tartmonger:

Hello Jonathan and listeners
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:13am Popsicle:

Great set
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:19am Dan M:

Man, this sounds great!
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:21am Popsicle:

Wondering if this guy is playing this or actually sampled Fripp
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:25am Dan M:

Kawabata Makoto's a pretty impressive guitarist, I bet he'd get bored if they just used samples.
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:26am Popsicle:

Cool I didn't know. Will check him out
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 6/22/16 2:29am fred:

@Popsicle: Many of his records are with Acid Mothers Temple
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:30am number 6:

That Rock Critics piece was mighty tasty. The cassette comp it's on looks amazing: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Sensationnel-No-1/release/716524
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:34am Dan M:

Yeah, @Popsicle I think they're great fun to see live, it's normally three or so crazy japanese old men, lots of improvisation and trying to knock each other off center and the recover the song. They always seem to have a blast on stage. Highly recommended live band. They're recordings seldom live up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 6/22/16 2:38am fred:

@Dan: Did you see one of the "Japanese new music festival" tours? Lots of fun
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:42am Ray L:

Great show!
Wed. 6/22/16 2:43am ice in bklyn:

Erick's, ie Creamo . Last weeks set was really quite good.
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:45am Dan M:

@fred No, that does sound great! I'm out in Oakland CA now, last time I saw AMT was in Boston last year. I'll have to google it though and see if any of those japanese new music shows are out here that sounds pretty good. Got a ticket to Cornelius later this year though, he's doing a reprise of Fantasma. I only recently rediscovered how much I love all that japanese stuff I used to listen to :)
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:46am Dan M:

Also echoing thanks to the DJ, very cool show. Glad I tuned in tonight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 6/22/16 2:48am fred:

@Dan: It's basically two of the AMT guys with the drummer from Ruins doing short solo, duo and trio sets. All over the map and very fun
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 6/22/16 2:49am fred:

Thanks Jonathan! (I never thought I'd hear you play Oasis)
  Wed. 6/22/16 2:50am Dan M:

@fred man, that sounds right up my alley, thanks for the recommendation, I'm gonna have to check that out!
