Diggin' this, settling in for the day.

When does "Drain the Trough" hit the stage?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm Liz Berg:

I believe Drain the Trough may be the finale!
Avatar 3:26pm northguineahills:

Cavern of Anti-Matter, new to me, and thoroughly awesome!

Off to a great start, Liz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Santos L. Halper:

Great opener, Cavern sounding awesome as expected!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm Liz Berg:

WFMU listener Lou just swung by the tent with treats and I am now stuffing my face with a churro the size of a cucumber, and it's filled with nutella! Watch out for a sugar high on the next mic break!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm Joe D.:

we're also snacking very heavy here at WFMU HQ JC - thanks to Rich Hazelton for the gourmet olive selection
  3:55pm Tuned:

  4:09pm UncleMarty:

Wish I were there .... Ciao Italia!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Joe D.:

just throwing this out there for all the folks enjoying this set - if Royal Headache comes to your town - GO AND SEE THEM. As good as the audio is, Shogun's stage antics add a whole 'nother level
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45pm woj:

thanks again for another primavera broadcast! this tortoise set is a good soundtrack for the golf on cbs...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm Liz Berg:

You're welcome, @woj! Thanks for tuning in!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12pm Liz Berg:

Sorry for the funky opening there! Cheyenne was being harassed by a drunken Irishman!

Avatar 5:42pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Hank IV...don't make a Dino sore...500 Indie bands @ Indie 500 - it's Dale 499...
Hey there are worse songs...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Rob W:

Tel Aviv's Boom Pam (an excellent band on their own) backing up Selda was an amazing combination! I have to say, what we heard tonight was more powerful than Selda's show that we broadcast from Lincoln Center Out of Doors with a different backing band a few years ago. I hope they can bring their collaboration stateside!
Avatar 5:52pm geezerette:

Hank Williams 3rd 3rd
  5:53pm JakeGould:

Can't wait for "Dinosaur Jr. Reunion."
Avatar 5:54pm geezerette:

Jake that's a great band name!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm Liz Berg:

This just in: no PJ Harvey tonight, sorry kids. Management booted all media from the decks, WFMU was unfortunately no exception. sadface
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56pm Liz Berg:

On the upside, we've got plenty of other awesome stuff to bring you tonight, and way too much of it, so you will still be in a blissful music coma by the end of this insanity!
  5:57pm Torbjørn:

Dinosaur Reunion ? Ah shucks, no PJ Harvey ? I'm sure whatever you put on instead will rock in equal amount.
  5:59pm Cliff:

God, this sounds amazing, I can only imagine how loud it was hearing it live!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm Rob W:

Proud to say that my better half Katie of Special Pillow introduced Dinosaur Jr to the Cure's "Just Like Heaven" when they were guests on her WCBN (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) radio show and the Cure's 1987 LP Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me was in the station's new bin!
Avatar 6:39pm TehBadDr:

Nobody's seen DJ Harvey except Jimmy Stewart!
Avatar 6:39pm TehBadDr:

Thanx Cliff!
  6:40pm Cliff:

Whoa Rob, that's nuts!

Avatar 7:32pm Cheri Pi:

DLJ sounding perfect
  7:33pm Cliff:

Drive Like Jehu was one of those 90's bands that I'd heard but never got around to checking out. Obviously I made a huge mistake back then!
  7:34pm Cliff:

  7:43pm cursorx:

Listening on the 5 freeway heading north to Long Beach, California.
  7:45pm Cliff:

That bass sound though, so wicked....I wonder how I'd've turned out if I'd been listening to these guys instead of Nirvana!

Avatar 9:40pm Cheri Pi:

Heya BT and Liz, great to hear your voices
Avatar 9:40pm Cheri Pi:

Tried those potatoes ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm Ike:

I might not buy a PJ Harvey album ever again, or at least not any time soon, and I'm a long-time fan. Not that it makes any difference to say that here since her stupid management surely isn't reading this. Wonder if she's on any social media.
  9:45pm Cliff:

She's on Twitter and Facebook, Ike, if you want to express your opinion.
Avatar 9:50pm Cheri Pi:

Yeah what's for breakfast?
  9:57pm JakeGould:

Thanks Brian, Liz and Cheyenne for being up that late over there doing this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:58pm Liz Berg:

  10:32pm JakeGould:

So did the crowd not dance during U.S. Girls? Always fascinated by folks not dancing to dance music at non-dance venues.

Yes geezerette, but this time with a lot more glass & steel

@Rev, I can make this perfectly clear to you. I just happened to approach adulthood when REALLY GOOD music was being produced. Pistols, The Damned, Clash, Blurt, Germs, Weirdos, Fat & Fucked Up, etc. Subsequently, not so good music was produced, such as Nirvana. All we can do is pity the latecomers.
  11:33pm Cliff:

I was a latecomer, but I climbed outta the sludge and made it here
