Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

Just keep the electric hairdryer away from the bathtub. Give the Drummer Radio is a "No accidents" facility.

This is interesting, live set, huh. Reminds a bit of a Glenn Branca concert I attended WAY back in the day...

Was just reading about how Ben Greenberg played with Glenn Branca at his recent Redbull Fest performance...we provided all the guitar amps (9 total!) and drum kit for it.

Holy wow to this performance!!

Doug Schulkind:

My wife's previous boyfriend was in Glenn Branca's 100-guitar orchestra.

Which makes me pretty damn cool.

Well, my wife's 2nd cousin is Paul Simon, so hardy har har (of course, he has nothing to do with the family...)
It really does have that Branca feel to it...hearing Branca's symphony live was really intense! (it was at the old Mudd Club, downtown NYC, when things like that happened).

@Doug Shamelessly trading on connections again, or should I say still?

Flanagan likes to sit on the floor, Nelson likes to sit on his amp, Greenberg plays guitar in a chair, and Dara usually stands.
