hello there
  12:17pm Polyus:

Wow how does Wire keep doing it? They have been on a late-career roll almost any band would envy.

Hello everyone

Grinderman! woohoo!
  12:40pm Lou:

I missed Jak but not Mr. Meyer! Yay.
Avatar 12:44pm Cecile:

But I didn't miss High on Fire, so yay!
  12:44pm Mike in SF:

Thanks for playing Dim Stars, love that record.
Avatar 12:45pm Cecile:

Poly, I think Wire does it by only doing things when they feel like doing them and sticking to that. And they've completely avoided the elder statesmen trap.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm Mister Dobalina:

I hope Ivan is doing well & fighting back.
Avatar 12:47pm Cecile:

I guess he did great, but the recovery leaves him unable to work - they did a GoFundMe and benefits for him, according to Google. But I'm sure he still needs positive thoughts, Mr. D.

You're something else DK. That's great.
Avatar 1:53pm Cecile:

wow, that was a great interview. Just took me a minute to process it.
Avatar 1:56pm Diane Kamikaze:

I thought I could ask him a couple off topic questions (like have Richard talk about himself!), although I didn't think the Heartbreakers was going to get a pass. Considering it was at the last minute we both did very well. :)
Avatar 1:58pm Chris from DC:

Whitehorse, yay
Avatar 2:04pm Cecile:

I think it was really great how he really stressed the fundraiser. Very cool.
Avatar 2:06pm just dc pat or dcp-your choice:

I figured the Thunders question was a long shot.
Avatar 2:09pm Dr. Goot:

Yes, you both were great and he was very gracious. He briefly mentioned his writing career, but he did not plug his latest book. That would have been tacky...

I had to explain to the children that "vinyl, platters, discs, LPs, dub plates and licorice pizzas"are all acceptable to us old timers. "Vinyls" are not.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm Cliff:

Licorice pizzas? That's a good one to confuse the hipsters with
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Ken From Hyde Park:

The main WFMU page mentions #NewRekkid in the Twitter area. twitter.com...
Avatar 2:51pm Cecile:

Avatar 2:55pm Cecile:

has this been done at Hoof and Mouth? This is another good banger.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Rich in Washington:

I've made this jukebox playlist of 70s music which is one of the few selection my wife and I can agree with and for some reason, this song pops up way too much, despite having days and days of music in it. It's an OK song but it's entirely too insistent with its riff.
Avatar 2:57pm V Priceless:

thanx DK...swell show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm Cliff:

Thanx fer playin' all doze rekkidz Diane :D
