Hi EFD & all. Just bk from Tampon Sanders rally. Too crowded so we dinner'd instead. But not before spotting Clay Pigeon, intro'ng ourselves, & then getting interviewed. Wotta nice man, but we all knew that already. --Oh wait, terrific first song as always, but we all knew that already.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07pm melinda:

herb I was wondering if Clay was there interviewing when I heard on SSD there was a giant rally in Washington Sq. Park. Cool that you met him in such a large crowd! Hi efd!
Avatar 9:13pm Marc Francis:

This song could have been written today....

Hey folks! Just got over the crazy flu. So vote for me as being the most honest, flu free, 6+ day flu survivor ever!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15pm efd:

hey everyone! Thanks for tuning in tonight - nice to see you all!
Avatar 9:17pm herb.nyc:

Next time I meet Clay P, I'll intro myself again and ask "are you Clay Pigeon?". He'll say yes and I go "well this summons is for you! You have been served!".
Avatar 9:18pm Loretta:

hi Evan ~ good eve to all!
Avatar 9:19pm herb.nyc:

Wait, I bet JakeG was intimate w Andy Breckman. For don't Andy have the flu now? Case closed!
Avatar 9:20pm JakeGould:

@herb.nyc: I went to jury duty last Monday. Then the following Thursday it kicked in. Then I was sick from Thursday to Tuesday morning on the day I had to go back to jury duty. So I think the answer is no…
  9:21pm jon:

hi efd. hi funky listeners. the 70s block is always amazing
Avatar 9:22pm JakeGould:

Unless Andy Breckman was a busty, flop-sweat covered hispanic woman in a crop top who sat near me and leaned in and coughed to talk about how the whole system is garbage. Then perhaps I was wishing 1 foot of that person.
Avatar 9:25pm JakeGould:

I meant to say, “Then perhaps I was WITHIN 1 foot of that person.”
  9:26pm herb.nyc:

Glad yr better, JakeG
Avatar 9:29pm dale:

i wish the tampon party was a real thing.
Avatar 9:32pm JakeGould:

@herb.nyc: Thanks! I’m strong, can sleep without fever dreams or waking un in pain for the first time in 6+ days and my jury duty case settled out of court! Not to mention someone tossed out 34+ cast iron bottle openers and I found them. Life is good! www.instagram.com...
Avatar 9:33pm JakeGould:

Frodis = “Frod-ee”?
Avatar 9:34pm JakeGould:

Maybe? I don’t know. Fro-DIS!!!
Avatar 9:36pm JakeGould:

Q: What do you call it when someone disrespects your afro?
A: You call it a… Fro-Dis!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm Cooh John:

JakeGould, I am calling a tow truck to haul that joke away.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:47pm melinda:

I liked the Nude Party.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:51pm efd:

@melinda I've played both sides of that Nude Party single and they're both good!
  10:03pm herb.nyc:

Eyelids are GBV-related?
  10:03pm herb.nyc:

Free GBV show, July 9 nyc
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03pm Figgsrock:

Oh wow, Starcub! Haven't heard that since I played it the year it came out on the alt show at the active rock station I worked at.
Avatar 10:06pm coelacanth:

greetings efd and Funkies
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm efd:

ha! I should've known that if anyone would know that Starclub song it would be you, @Figgsrock! It's so great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm efd:

"Let Your Hair Down" is another good track on that Starclub album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm Stevel:

Jake: Those bottle openers might be the answer to your prayers, or fever dreams, perhaps.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm ἶkε:

Woah, I didn't Primal Scream had that in them. Holy shmow.
  10:25pm herb.nyc:

TacocaT were great last..
  10:25pm herb.nyc:

..nite at Mercury Lounge
Avatar 10:29pm JakeGould:

FWIW, I attempted to use one of the bottle openers to actually open a bottle… It was a horrible experience…

Hey Ike! do you need a crappy bottle opener? Check the link above. Just take the B63 over to my place and I can hook you up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm efd:

cast iron, though! What could go wrong?
Avatar 10:34pm JakeGould:

@efd: Nothing better than watching the paint on the opener chip off right when I am using the thing to do what it’s designed to do: Add much leaded lead and iron to my newly opened drink.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35pm Stevel:

Your bottle openers aren't crappy, they're 'distressed'. You're welcome.
Avatar 10:37pm JakeGould:

I might just carry 4 of them at a time in my out and about backpack so I can give them out as gifts. Like if someone I don’t like corners me at an even I can say, “Wait! I have a gift for you!” and give them one and say, “You really made an impression on me. Here’s a heavy bottle opener. Enjoy!”
Avatar 10:40pm JakeGould:

FWIW, they apparently retail for $20 at those stores that sell overpriced crap to those with extra money and no taste. www.instagram.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm chris_in_space:

@JakeGould, you've got another IG follower here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm Stevel:

Yes, the whole "bottle opener" ruse was obviously a bald and successful attempt to garner social media followers (and I haven't even heard the fog horn yet.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:48pm chris_in_space:

Speaking of Clay Pigeon, this Tow-Away Zone sounds like a track he'd play. Gotta say that I love his show, especially during campaign season. ION, hi all. It's great to be here as usual on a Wednesday night with the FUNK!

Alice, from a few EFD premiums back - on my gym mp3 - Love this song
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:29pm efd:

Hi AS! Yeah, it's an efd classic!
  11:31pm AS from MP:

whenever it shuffles on, I have to hit the repeat button. And happy mid-week to ya, Evan.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:57pm Ken From Hyde Park:
