Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm melinda:

That's a lot of jury duty Jake. I've never had to yet.
Avatar 10:09pm JakeGould:

Well, in NYC if you do jury duty they can’t call you again for 8 years. So I’m cool with this.
Avatar 10:10pm coelacanth:

i got out of it once (legit); did criminal once, but never actually "served", besides waiting for 4 days to find out that we're not going to serve; and one grand, which also didn't amount to much.
Avatar 10:12pm JakeGould:

@coelacanth: They did call me for grand jury duty one day in the summer. I went, nobody was called because all the judges were on vacation, so we all went home. That’s my service there.
Avatar 10:16pm coelacanth:

my last time was in kingston.ny. it was a perfect spring weather week and we sat around outside for most of those 4 days. not too bad.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I got a letter for grand jury duty and promptly forgot about calling the number until after the week had passed. No one ever came after me, so I presume my number never came up.
Avatar 10:18pm JakeGould:

@KenFromHydePark: They generally don’t waste time coming after you if you don’t show up… But if for some reason you are involved in some legal case or something and they dig that up? BOOM! Nailed.

I like this track! But then, I only do jury duty on cases involving murdered entertainers. It's my judicial specialty.
