Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43pm KevinfromBayRidge:

@Brian(2:36). Sounds like a "LOST" plot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm Uncle Michael:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm Brian in UK:

@βrian This GP will make the travelling easy.

Nice one, Ted. Grievous. Single mix, different from the LP?
Avatar 3:03pm Ted Barron:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:05pm Uncle Michael:

The Bobby Bare would be nice paired with Nilsson's "Joy."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm listener james from westwood:

Ah, the Faron-Feathers one-two punch.

Avatar 3:30pm ndbob:

.. scrolling up the playlist - glad you played "the Cuckoo Bird" - always loved the Everly's version of that song
  3:32pm Greg Masters:

Enjoying, Mr B
  3:33pm Lore:

Bobby Rush talks about this tune on the video shot at Sonny Boy's grave, here: http://iamthebluesmovie.com/artists/AllVideos.html
  3:40pm Greg Masters:

Haven't heard The Gurus in quite awhile: Blue Snow Night and Come Girl. Just sayin.
  3:45pm Andy S.:

"Wizard of Love" by the Ly-Dells ('61) is one of those pre-Beatles songs I remember hearing on AM radio, though maybe no more than a handful of times. Check out "Rip Van Winkle" by the Devotions -- same year, in a similar "bag."
Avatar 3:47pm ndbob:

this should be heard more often - underrated Miracles song
  3:48pm Andy S.:

Miracles' catalog is DEEP. Check out "I Can Take A Hint" or their version of "If I Were A Bell."
Avatar 3:50pm ndbob:

I Can Take a Hint - is great - one thing about growing up in Baltimore is that the many of the Motown records were two sided hits on the soul station.
Avatar 3:56pm ndbob:

excellent show Ted!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm Doug Schulkind:

There will be no Give the Drummer Some show tomorrow morning, but Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael will hit the streamwaves at noon (ET) just like always.

Cheers everyone, and thanks for making the 2016 marathon a uuuuge, uuuuuge success!
  3:58pm Dungaroos Kipawah:

Was playing this Bobby Bland cut in bar last nite--just the tops. Fantabulous show, Ted
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm Uncle Michael:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm Dominick:

Thank you sir
  4:00pm Andy S.:

Guitar Slim! Once told Jerry Wexler that before they could start a session in New Orleans, he "had to put my singin' pants on" -- and did!
  4:02pm Greg Masters:

no, more
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03pm listener james from westwood:

Ted, always a pleasure. Thanks for meandering!
Avatar 4:03pm Parq:
