Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

The Simpsons warned us about President Trump 16 years ago: www.theguardian.com...
  6:30pm Listener Robert:

What do you think of Fabio's suggestion that Clay emcee political debates?
Avatar 6:31pm Marcel M:

I think that would be amazing, Robert
Avatar 6:32pm dale:

but not an official debate. maybe a three-legged race
  6:33pm Listener Robert:

I rank his ability to draw out truth or something close to it as up there with Howard Stern & Art Bell, but with the reserv'n that it might not work as well w people who are used to being interviewed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33pm Carmichael:

People are complaining about how government doesn't work, but they leave congress in place and try to replace the President. Makes no sense whatsoever to me.
Avatar 6:34pm Swan_Gone:

@Carmichael couldn't agree more!
  6:35pm Listener Robert:

If the interviewee put up resistance and Clay had to interview just this individual rather than being able to pick from a crowd, would it go as well, or would he turn into The Human Serviette?
  6:35pm V Priceless:

Hey Clay and Fabio!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Carmichael - Exactly. Picking the next Supreme Court Justice, for example. Instead of buckling down and ratifying the president's choice, they insist on waiting until next year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38pm melinda:

Happy 10th Clay!
Avatar 6:39pm Clay Pigeon:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Andrew Waterloo:

Obama should just proceed and just hint that Trump his pick is probably better than Trump's pick.
Avatar 6:40pm Tidepoolbay:

90.1 FM is out. Antenna not working!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:41pm -Ken:

Yes, 90.1 took a lightning hit last night, Tidepool. Hope to get it back on he air tomorrow night.

Thanks Ken! I am streaming way!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm Andrew Waterloo:

Narduare tends to overwhelm his interviewees with nostalgia and then prompts them to create more.
Avatar 6:42pm Tidepoolbay:

Yes. I also listen to 91.1 FM.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43pm Carmichael:

Ken, don't they make some kind of grounding rod or shunt to keep lightning from zapping the gear?? I love using the word "shunt".

Avatar 6:48pm herb.nyc:

am about to turn stereo on, to wfmu (shhh, wnyc now). but when i heard NACHUM this moring, he mentioned that a pro-TRUMP person would be on the show, and laughed at the weird improbability. but maybe CLAY can talk to such people, for i just know it'll be a good and positive conversation. (or has this already happened?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49pm melinda:

Clay and Hearty!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:02pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I think Hearty if from Kentucky. Sinner's Crossroads' Kevin Nutt is from Alabama. All good!
  7:13pm Dean:

I thought he said Tallahassee on Diane's show. Am I making that up?
  7:21pm Dean:

Read a good book on TCP/IP. You'll get a lot of the Internet. Not everything by a stretch, but a good foundation.
  7:37pm Listener Robert:

The Internet's a great example of economy of scale triumphing over...just about all other consider'ns. At some point the traffic's enough to make it faster to ship around all those packets, mostly "wasted", than to Kermit or zmodem or whatever from point to point directly.
