I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

  12:13pm Cliff:

Good afternoon Bryce & Bryceoids
  12:15pm Cliff:

Did I ever tell any of you about that one time I had hemorrhoids and I didn't have a car, so I had to bike 4 miles to the doctor?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm George of Troy:

Hey Bryce and gang, good afternoon!
Avatar 12:15pm Bryce:

  12:17pm Cliff:

The doctor said, "Well, that must've been a real pain in the ass." And then he sent me away with hemorrhoid cream and I had to bike back 4 miles home. The End.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm Carmichael:

I have been pre-droning, Bryce. At about 183 hz.
  12:17pm Cliff:

(This is all true.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm coelacanth:

Avatar 12:26pm Bryce:

183.58 Hertz is a frequency that is associated with Jupiter and can bring growth and success.

Usage And Suggestions:

We suggest you use this frequency during times of growth in your life. This could be when getting ready for a promotion or applying for a new job. Any time where you need help and guidance- this is the perfect frequency. Bring in your car and listen to frequency through (Aux) port on your way into work.
  12:28pm Cliff:

Story checks out on Google, I believe it
  12:32pm steve:

why hello
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm Carmichael:

I feel taller and richer already. I should run for President.
Avatar 12:36pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

what it is!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm coelacanth:

i was using beer and pasta but i'll try 183.58 hertz instead!
Avatar 12:38pm Bryce:

give to me some of skin
  12:39pm Cliff:

I was using those leg lengtheners that they loosen the screws every three months and break your bones and wait for them to heal before breaking them again
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm sphere:

sorry i'm late, folks. this Ablinger is pretty choice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm Ken From Hyde Park:

What would be handy is a frequency that can soften cold butter when you pull it out of the fridge.
  12:45pm Cliff:

I just leave it on the stovetop for a minute or so (if I'm cooking something on it)
Avatar 12:49pm Bryce:

thermoacoustics is a thing!
  12:52pm illy B:

Fantastico! Grazie Mille
Avatar 12:53pm Bryce:

  12:55pm Cliff:

I think my shortwave radio can tune in 183.58 Hz (though that would really be longwave)
  12:57pm Cliff:

Well, long-long-longwave. Too long for my antenna. It could do 183.58 kHz though
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm coelacanth:

Ken, about 2.5 gigahertz.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm Ken From Hyde Park:

My motivation with the butter is to get is to spread nicely on toast. If I had time, I'd leave the butter sitting out a while before spreading it. But it's in the morning and kids are rushing out the door. So I put the crudely buttered toast on top of the toaster and turn it on for a bit. Then the butter melts and no longer chunks of hard butter sitting on the toast.
  1:00pm Cliff:

According to Wikpedia (en.wikipedia.org...), 30-300 Hz is Super Low Frequency (SLF) and is used for communication with submarines.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm coelacanth:

you could switch to oils. (?)
i was involved with a woman with 2 kids who "tricked" them into liking flax seed oil by telling them it's liquid butter. (and actually, mixing flax oil with butter is recommended by many people because apparently the butter acts as sort of a "carrier" so the body absorbs the flax oil better.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:04pm Carmichael:

No wonder I kept hearing gurgling conversations.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08pm coelacanth:

so, Bryce - where can i get my hands on some of this "183.58 Hertz"?
...i haven't seen any info-mercials for it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm sphere:

Also, you might consider spreadable butter. I can find it at almost any grocery store in the area.
  1:11pm Ken of Brooklyn:

Just tuning in, Hi Bryce! LOVING this Dumitrescu set, WOWOWOWOW!
  1:11pm Cliff:

Ask Gaylord Fields, he came up with the WFMU slogan about not using it while pregnant or operating heavy machinery (side effects may include pregnancy and a compulsion to operate heavy machinery)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:11pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, coelacanth & sphere. I'm using some kind of butter/oil blend (canola oil, maybe?) product for toast and keep stick butter around for baking purposes. All is well.
  1:13pm bill:

Andy Breckman: WFMU is SO HOTT!! you might have to wear protective clothing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm coelacanth:

right on.
-yeah, the 2.5 gigahertz doesn't work that well unless you plan to use all the butter at once.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17pm Carmichael:

Here you go, coel: www.audionotch.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm coelacanth:

Thanks Carmichael! those are kilahertz though. i HATE kilahertz!
  1:27pm Ted:

X Files. Just sayin'
  1:28pm Cliff:

Hey bill, where did Brendan go, did he pick the wrong wormhole this time?
  1:29pm Cliff:

I'll bet it was the one with Cleopatra Jones in it
Avatar 1:31pm Wild Neil:

@Butter-I microwave you for ten seconds on high to make you spreadable. I notice you sometimes melt a little, but hey, you're butter.
@Bryce-Greetings Bryce et al!
Avatar 1:35pm Chris from DC:

This Dumitrescu stuff is brilliant.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm Tome:

... agrees with the above wholeheartedly ... > bit.ly...
Avatar 1:39pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Pro Dumitrescu, violently anti-margarine.
  1:39pm Cliff:

It's great, and it answers the question, "What if I want to listen to stuff like NWW's Soliloquy for Lilith?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm sphere:

Breaking news: Chris Christie has endorsed Orange Hair for president.
  1:41pm Cliff:

Avatar 1:43pm Harry:

You're speakin my language! Bertoia
Avatar 1:44pm kirk from beer city usa:

Ha! I thought Bryce was running his voice through an echo effect, then realized that I had two pop-up players going at the same time.
  1:44pm Cliff:

So is Bernie Batman or Robin?
  1:44pm Cliff:

I thought Bryce had extra reverb last week, but it was just the shrooms
  1:46pm Cliff:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52pm Carmichael:

@coel: you can type in the exact frequency you want, including hz. Then just drone away. As usual, it's all the way to the left of your dial ...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm coelacanth:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Marcel M:

Avatar 2:15pm Wild Neil:

@Cliff-sober today?
  2:15pm Cliff:

In a rainbow of pantsuits
Avatar 2:16pm Wild Neil:

@Cliff-covered in cathair from her 23 cats she owns.
  2:16pm Cliff:

Wild Neil: Of course. This is my usual self.
  2:17pm Cliff:

Make sure you read the long story I told at the top of the comments about biking with hemorrhoids
Avatar 2:17pm Chris from DC:

The image of retiree Catwoman made my afternoon.
Avatar 2:17pm Wild Neil:

@Cliff-"The End". LOL! CLASSIC.
Avatar 2:19pm Bryce:

oh, cool, swan_gone! gotta pass the thx along to Important Records for sending us this beautiful 11-cd box.

they did a mindblowingly good job of remastering this stuff; just sounds fantastic. and the whole restoration project was bankrolled by a kickstarter, no less....
  2:19pm Cliff:

Haha, unintentional pun! Sometimes I'm even better than I think
  2:21pm Cliff:

The doctor really did say to me, "That must've been a pain in the ass." I couldn't believe it.
Avatar 2:23pm jeff-m:

I threw some coins at them via Kickstarter. Seemed like a nice and worthy thing to do
Avatar 2:25pm Bryce:

nice :)
Avatar 2:38pm Swan_Gone:

Usually I think crowdfunding is tacky but I can get behind that.
  2:38pm Cliff:

It launched the 2nd wave of VR!
Avatar 2:42pm Wild Neil:

@Cliff-VR=Virtual Reality? Virgin Recording? Vector Rectification?
Avatar 2:43pm Wild Neil:
