Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

how about Elizabeth Warren?

I don't think Warren ever sang "Drift Away." Was that the question?
  6:34pm
P-90:

Look: just the fact that the two Dem candidates are engaged in heated controversy over who can most truthfully claim the label "progressive" (as opposed to "merely liberal"), and the media are exhaustively reporting and evaluating their respective arguments, is a milestone I never would have hoped for at this point.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm

MVB invented the term OK (okay) because his nickname was "Old Kinderhook."
  6:42pm
Old Dave:

The first sentence on Bernie's campaign website states "Bernie is not a Socialist." He is a Social Democrat.
It's too bad most of us will never bother trying to learn the difference and just keep calling him a Socialist.
GK Chesterton was labeled a Socialist 100 years ago because the concept of Distributism was similar sounding.
We Americans can't be bothered to try understanding these things.
  6:43pm
V Priceless:

Cool MB track! What a great song writer! Just the best!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm

  6:45pm

Sing it, Old Dave. We can't be bothered because dammit we're entitled to our opinions.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm
melinda:

We need to banish the stigma against socialism. It isn't incompatible with capitalism, we already have both in this country we just don't name it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

If there was a TV show that showed Trump working on an Iowa dairy farm, it's possible I might actually watch that.
  6:47pm

Jimmy LaFave does a really good version of Waite's "Missing You."
