I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm Greg from ZONE 5:

I feel like I'm in a spooky castle…
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm Dave in Vermont:

@Greg, whatever you do don't open that door.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm Bryce:

actually, you're being detained at a Black Site
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm Greg from ZONE 5:

A spooky Black Site?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm Carmichael:

Why am I not hearing anything? This is either the quietest song ever, or the stream is down.
  12:45pm bill:

A scary cave with bats
  12:46pm Coy:

I am enjoying this Bret Schneider. Isn't he the father of John Schneider, former star of televison's, The Dukes of Hazzard? Certainly there are stylistic similarities in the overall "feel" of their approaches to music and acting.

Hi Bryce et al!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm Bryce:

hey, neil!
Avatar 1:01pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Just arrived. May I boogie?
Avatar 1:01pm Wild Neil:

Its a good day. I woke up, for instance! Didn't die in my sleep! Woo!
Avatar 1:02pm Wild Neil:

Boogaloo till ya puke.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm Bryce:

coy, a lot of people think that, but it's actually just the name dee snider uses on his side projects
Avatar 1:14pm northguineahills:

That's cool, Glenn Kotche working w/ John Luther Adams....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16pm Dave in Vermont:

this just got lovely
Avatar 1:21pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Avatar 1:24pm Chris from DC:

This really turned into a Soliloquy for Lilith kind of deal. That's a very good thing.
  1:25pm Coy:

Ah, Dee Snider. I heard he's now teaming up with the band that sang the popular MTV hit, "Broken Wings." Their new project is to be called, Mister Sister. Should be interesting. great show. I hate museums.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Bryce:

Avatar 1:30pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Like the Soliloquy, this has a certain ring to it...
Avatar 1:32pm Wild Neil:

Venus records. Second coming. Etc...NOW I know why I like to hang out on the message board-its like hanging out at a record shop!
Avatar 1:33pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

of course the vibe of the track changed as soon as i posted that, thus violently neutering an otherwise fab joke.
Avatar 1:34pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Also: will have to hit the archive; missed the Lasse M. piece; haven't heard that collaboration yet...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm Andrew Waterloo:

Saw Nels Cline at a jazz festival and in behind me were a bunch of annoying Wilco fans getting hyped up about seeing Nels Cline perform. They got up and left about 3 minutes into the set. I wonder if the same happened for this Glen Kotche performance.
Avatar 1:42pm Chris from DC:

I give that joke a ringing endorsement though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm Andrew Waterloo:

I'll hum my praises
Avatar 1:43pm Wild Neil:

This John Lither Adams reminds me of the movie Gravity where they are floating in orbit waiting for the space debris to hit...
Avatar 1:46pm Chris from DC:

Oh yes. This. Right here.
Avatar 1:47pm Marcel M:

Hello Bryce and friends.

Ash Ra Temple !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:47pm Bryce:

hey, marcel!
Avatar 1:49pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Pre-clickie'd for my convenience.
But of course.
Avatar 1:49pm Marcel M:

Glad to be here! Not usually possible with my schedule :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm sphere:

So nice to hear this Ash Ra Temple track - this totally makes the album.
Avatar 1:51pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Klaus needs more sticks!
Avatar 1:51pm Marcel M:

Yeah I haven't heard this in forever... freaking ill.
  1:53pm raga:

Bryce, your milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm Carmichael:

This is 100% AWESOME! I just clicky-starred 10,000 times.
  1:55pm mjgoins:

Ha, I never noticed the "favorite" button the playlist before!
Avatar 1:57pm Marcel M:

I saw Manuel Göttsching perform E2-E4 on the UWS in '08 or so. He shredded over it at one point. Was awesome.
Avatar 1:59pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Still have this as a Spalax CD reissue. An orig.pressing with the die-cut cover is probably horrifically expensive but seems like a must.
Avatar 2:01pm Marcel M:

I have that one as well, Rev.
  2:03pm Lowell:

Ash Ra is Shirley's grand-nephew. The apple fell quite a distance from the tree.
Avatar 2:04pm Marcel M:

@Lowell: hahaha
Avatar 2:07pm Chris from DC:

Holy crap
  2:08pm bill:

Goodbye Bryce. I hope you enjoyed your stay on our planet.
  2:08pm mto:

I love you Bryce!!!!!
Avatar 2:09pm Chris from DC:

Are they bringing the cement mixer?
Avatar 2:11pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Faust also pre-clickie'd for convenience. Lovely.

Thanks to the Ash Ra Tempel, I'll have to run home & crack out the old Guru Guru vinyl. It's a cause & effect thing. Simple physics.
  2:14pm Lowell:

Interesting that this band is venturing into finance with a chain of Faust National Banks opening soon in the Northeast.
Avatar 2:14pm Marcel M:

Dammit I bought a Faust ticket for their show in Bushwick... I guess I'll just have to do both.
  2:17pm bill:

This is a German Freak Out!
  2:17pm Lowell:

Faust ... National Banks. Get it? If I had to rank this band among other indie, new wave, or alternative combos, I would rank them in faust place. Sorry to Faust myself upon you with these jokes. Ha!
  2:36pm mister-c:

Nice !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm Linda Lee:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Bryce:
