I love your shows Micah but cannot say the same about the background of your playlists...
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 6:26am micah:

oh? too disruptive for you tiago?
Avatar    Fri. 1/29/16 6:27am tiago:

I understand it's intended but I had to say it
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Fri. 1/29/16 6:28am Guido from Cologne:

beautiful psych-folk section!
loved that helgeson scranton.
guess not re-issued yet?
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 6:29am micah:

ok if other people chime in and tell me they hate it , i will change it
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 6:38am annie:

my chime: the bright violet does bother my eyes somewhat, though i rarely look at the page long enough. i run many tabs and i'm over on another most of the time, unless i peek in to see the chatter or to favorite a tune....ding!
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 6:52am micah:

any better?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 6:53am annie:

OH, i like that one!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 6:53am annie:

at least it's not yellow..
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 6:54am ausmanx:

oh, i'll be difficult and say i prefer the original... this is heading towards magenta, and that's never good...
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 6:54am micah:

fine. neutral colors. no weird graphics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 6:55am ausmanx:

just about the colour of donald trump's face
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 6:58am Mantas:

micah where do you find all this great music ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:04am annie:

hey aus, pop-quiz!! period inside a quotated sentence fragment at the end of a sentence or outside?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:09am ausmanx:

period inside the quotes only if it's a complete sentence inside the quotes, i always think, annie. otherwise outside
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:10am annie:

thank you... i am vindicated!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:10am ausmanx:

donald trump's face is "red as a beetroot".
donald trump said "My face is red as a beetroot."
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:12am annie:

these articles i edit are full of that small error. i'm starting to notice the country of origin of the publication has a lot to do with it. it gives me a shudder of joy to read an article that is punctuated correctly.
  Fri. 1/29/16 7:13am Billy London:

I can feel the spirit in my elbow!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:15am ausmanx:

oh goodness, i'm just relieved to see something SPELT correctly these days, annie. new edition of Tony Judt's essays published by Verso, on page two we find him "pouring over his maps of Europe." sigh. micah's playlist is exemplary...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:17am annie:

i lived in a city in northern virgina that held concerts on the courthouse lawn and each year they brough back a choir that sang spiritual and "inspirational" songs. i am not really moved by that stuff, but this choir sure had the stuff and the whole audience was JIVIN'!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:20am annie:

pouring..... so sad. and the thing for me is that it actually affects my comprehension of the written sentence. my brain does a rewind in order to re-read the sentence and spell the word correctly in my mind. and here is today's good word: "ratiocination".
  Fri. 1/29/16 7:30am Billy London:

This reminds me of Aphrodites's child, 666
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 7:31am micah:

good call
  Fri. 1/29/16 7:33am Billy London:

Cheers! Love that album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 7:34am ausmanx:

i suspect i have never uttered a sentence containing the word ratiocination, and fear i never will
  Fri. 1/29/16 7:36am Billy London:

Wow haven't heard a peep about the davidians in ages.
  Fri. 1/29/16 7:37am Slazenger:

Good Morning! I am sorry that I cannot fully enjoy your show these days as I have returned to work and have to keep the volume VERY low. Keep searching for the STARS!!!
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 7:37am micah:

Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:07am micah:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:12am annie:

micah, it's an older book from the 70s(?) that relates a story of a man who meets an entity from another earthly existence, perhaps planetary. he spends what would seem to be years there learning and growing.. then "wakes up" to his current time. it has some great ideas ..nothing that's not been written about before, but it's told in a matter-of fact way. en.wikipedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:13am annie:

it's mind-broadening, to say the least, and thought-provoking
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:13am micah:

yea i looked it up. i dont know how it passed my radar its totally up my uncanny valley
  Fri. 1/29/16 8:15am yondernod:

excellent book!
Avatar    Fri. 1/29/16 8:19am PKNY:

G'TZAG, Micah and everybody! To whoever is playing drums on the Larry Dean track: kudos!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:25am annie:

yes, i've read it several times, then lost it to the next finder
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:27am annie:

...and my first immersion, quite gladly, into the spitirtual world in the early 70s was "Handbook to a Higher Conciousness" by Ken Keyes.. it has shaped my thinking to this very day.
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:27am micah:

a novel that sounds similar that has been an inspiration to me is Radix by AA Attanasio
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:28am micah:

ken keyes. I have an album by his cult
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:29am annie:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:29am annie:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:32am annie:

Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:35am micah:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:37am annie:

cool, although i DID find a goldmine of his teachings/lectures on YT... if i don't sign in next week it's due to be blissed out and in the clouds..
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:39am micah:

its very unexceptional psych folk
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:41am ausmanx:

i'd probably stick to Ken Kesey myself... but it's heading to 1 a.m. and that's enough Mexican soap opera for me, good night all...
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:42am Wild Neil:

@Ausmanx-yes "pouring" indeed. Another spellcheck victim.
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:42am Wild Neil:

@Micah-is King Crimson possible today?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Fri. 1/29/16 8:43am Ken From Hyde Park:

"Pouring" is one of my favourite British words!
Avatar Fri. 1/29/16 8:44am micah:

no sorry neil im almost out of time
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:44am ausmanx:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 1/29/16 8:44am annie:

Avatar    Fri. 1/29/16 8:47am tiago:

Avatar Swag For Life Member    Fri. 1/29/16 8:52am Ken From Hyde Park:
