Hi Fabio et al!
Avatar 3:06pm V Priceless:

Hey Fabs!
  3:07pm Eddie:

just curious, what song was that?
Avatar 3:07pm MacGuffin:

Hello everyone. What on earth is this?
Avatar 3:08pm βrian:

Good to see that FMU weathered the storm.
  3:12pm Dean:

Not to get out of hand with recommendations, but a friend of mine owns a label about to release this CD: https://soundcloud.com/invisible-birds/keith-berry-elixir-excerpt ...and... invisiblebirds.org/catalogue/ib010.html. Seems like material suitable for this program.
Avatar 3:13pm Chris from DC:

I heard an excerpt from the Keith Berry the other day, very nice.
Avatar 3:14pm V Priceless:

@ Fabio: just listened to 'Blackstar' (the song) backwards - stumbled upon it on the yootube - pretty uncanny...musically, in parts, it almost sounds very similar to the forward version...weird!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Eddie / @MacGuffin - Failure to see the playlist right away is normal. The tracks should start appearing soon. Certainly within the first hour. You might try refreshing the browser, too.
Avatar 3:16pm Wild Neil:

Wouldn't it be cool if we had a way to know what's playing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Mutant:

Jeez people - relax for a second and let him get caught up
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm chris:

sure, but then it wouldn't be Fabio's show, and that would suck, Neil
Avatar 3:17pm V Priceless:

your patience shall be rewarded, Wild Neil
Avatar 3:17pm Wild Neil:

Oh yeah, refresh! THAT worked!
Avatar 3:18pm Wild Neil:

Hit REFRESH people and the songs magically appear...
  3:18pm Obscurity Stunt:

O sweet cacophony! Love it!
  3:31pm NYC:

Feb - This set is crushing it.
  3:33pm Obscurity Stunt:

First time listener from SoCal - great so far!

Failure of patience with hard-working, un-compensated DJ

Avatar 3:36pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Just in. Dammit, missed the Space Mantra track.
i must be made to suffer...
Avatar 3:36pm Chris from DC:

Been digging this Tarotplane record a lot.
  3:38pm Brainiac:

Porno music makes a good bed... if ya know what I mean.
Avatar 3:39pm MattD:

Hi all. Got the playlist open ready to start listening in about 20 minutes. Failure currently clashing with a new Resonance Extra show in the UK from Mr Chocolate Monk Dylan Nyoukis. Probably going to take turns to listen live to one or the other, and download the one I miss (or partially miss) to listen while I'm running. Both great listening.
  3:47pm mto:

wow hey fab u r fab thnx
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48pm Mutant:

I'm one of the weirdos that likes the Moolah record
  3:54pm bloopy:

That Moolah record is stunning
Avatar 3:58pm chocolate monk:

Avatar 4:03pm fekner:

Moolah! Moolah!
  4:08pm Brainiac:

You know that existential dread that threatens to envelope you when you stand too long in the shower reflecting on all the things you might have said to your step-father 25 years ago when he told you you were a lazy bum and all you could come up with is "You're not my real dad"? Then you are forced to consider all the alternate scenarios that might have become reality if you'd only taken that job in New Mexico and moved out before the horrible incident that froze the future into the stifling quagmire that is your life...
This song reminds me of that. Before the percussion started.

Vampires and same sex desire often go together.
Avatar 4:19pm Wild Neil:

@Brainiac-people in NM are the nicest in the world. You are right, should have taken that job....
Avatar 4:26pm fekner:

bravo thx 4 a great playlist Fabio
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm Carmichael:

Male vampires are usually a little light in the loafers. Female vampires are typically slutty.
Avatar 4:43pm Wild Neil:

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."-Jerry Seinfeld.
Avatar 4:43pm Wild Neil:

This show is creepy and unsettling.
  4:43pm Brainiac:

If I was a WFMU dj for a day, my whole shift would consist only of surface noise.

Now somebody point me to the show where a dj already did that (most recently).
  4:49pm nic:

love the last one & so far this one 2

  5:11pm Listener Robert:

690-705 AD? How can that be, when Tang went w the astronauts into space?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm joe:

Sorry I stand corrected it was 618 to 907
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12pm joe:

it seems it was briefly interrupted during those years I mentioned.
  5:13pm Ximby Z:

Hmm... the film stars Shu Qi. Wow! She must be old now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:13pm joe:

The opening shot of the preview alone proves what you were saying Fabio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm joe:

My initial error also gives credence to your statement that some of us are just not meant to overly multitask.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm northguineahills:

The Empress Wu period in the period you mentioned would make good movie fodder.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26pm Carmichael:

To Empress Wu, Thanks For Everything, Fab & Clay.

oh yeah, Happy Birthday, Robert Wyatt!
Avatar 5:50pm cory:
