May 2016 present the opportunity to score all the Bruce Cockburn LP's you are looking for!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21am pacific standard simon:

I resolve to fix these headphones that I seem to have stepped on some time in the past week. Otherwise, I'm going to be tempted to yank my own head off while fiddling with them.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28am pacific standard simon:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55am pacific standard simon:

"In 2009 Cockburn travelled to Afghanistan to visit his brother, Capt. John Cockburn, and to play a concert for Canadian troops. He performed his 1984 song "If I Had a Rocket Launcher" and was temporarily awarded an actual rocket launcher by the military. Cockburn has stated that, while unsure of the original Invasion of Afghanistan, he supported Canada's role there."

We award you the Royal Order of Unsurity!
  3:57am Marty:

Awesome, Simon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03am pacific standard simon:

My nephew was a medic for the US army in Afghanistan. I really wish he hadn't enlisted, but there wasn't much I could do about it. I hope he's better now.
  4:03am Marty:

Goddamned stupid soundcloud.
  4:04am Marty:

I'll second that, man. Respect for enlisting as a corpsman.

  4:20am Steve:

Jeff, thanks for playing Boa Constrictor & A Natural Vine - 'Devil & the Ace of Spaces.' I've never heard of them before ?! Where does one find a copy of this rare LP ? Was it ever resissued ?
Avatar 4:21am Jeff Conklin:

@Steve: No reissue as of yet. Although I suspect Light in the Attic will get around to it as they've been doing Vanguard Apostolic stuff (Peter Walker, and soon: Family of Apostolic)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22am pacific standard simon:

Mellow with a cello?
  4:24am Steve:

Thanks, Jeff
Well, I hope so with regards to Light in The Attic Records. That particular song has an almost Jack White vibe to it. If LITA Records don't reissued than maybe Third Man Records should.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28am pacific standard simon:

I love the record click.
Avatar 4:28am Jeff Conklin:

I don't hear any Jack White but then again I couldn't tell you what Jack White sounds like....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32am pacific standard simon:

Fender-Rhodes funk.
